You Never Knew

Chapter 10

Jennie, me and Joacim was in one side of the booth. James, Lukas, Jenna and Finn on the other side.

"Did I hear someone say 'Never Have I Ever'?"

I sigh heavily before taking a sip of my drink. "No, you didn't Lukas."

"I heard it!" Jennie grins excitingly.

Joacim looks amused. "Me too!"

They all smirk at each other and I give in.

"Fine!", I mutter. "Never have I ever - been arrested."

Lukas, Finn and Jenna drink

"Really Lukas? Tell us!" James looks at him, intrigued.

Lukas smile mysteriously at him. "Na-ah! You only have to if you are the only drinker!"

"My turn!" Jennie lets out an excited squeal.  "Never have I ever – dyed my hair pink."

Both me and Jenna drink.

"It was not a good look for you Kiara!", Jenna says.

"That's why I went on to try green, blue, violet, red, yellow..."

"Really? A rainbow?" Finn takes a sip of his beer.

I feel irritation stir in me. "Got something against rainbows?"

"I pretty sure Summer thinks every colour except black is 'too bright'." Joacim smiles at me. His blue eyes sparkling with mischief.

James goes next. "Never have I ever – lied at a job interview."

All but James drink.

Jennie looks him over. "The real questions is – who doesn't? Who are you James?!"

"I guess I'm just honest."

"A very good quality in a guy I might add." Lucas winks at James, who smiles warmly at him. "Now for more fun questions! Never have I ever – been in a threesome."

Jenna drinks. "It was during my pink hair-phase. A lot of bad decisions took place during that phase!"

"Not all bad. You met me!" Lukas gives her an over-exaggerated wink.

Jenna rolls her eyes and tries to hide a smile behind her drink. "Point proven!"

Lukas tries to look offended, before breaking into a laugh.

Finn twist his beer bottle. "Well I guess it's my turn..."

Joacim cheer him on. "Make it count now Summer!"

Finn looks directly at me, his warm brown eyes sending shivers down my spine as he takes a sip of his beer while thinking. "Never have I ever – had sex at work."

Jennie, Jenna and Lukas drinks.

"Not this work I have to add!", Jennie giggles.

"Would you like to?" Joacim smirks and winks at her, making her cheeks burn pink.
I carefully turn my drink, unable to even glance at Finn. "Wouldn't that be against the rules? Don't want you guys to get fired."

James, being the 'old-timer' of the group steps up. "Well, technically the rules state you aren't allowed to have a relationship with co-workers..."

"...they say nothing about hot, steamy meetings in the copy room!" Joacim raises his eyebrows seductively at first Jennie, then me. "What – no takers?"

Jenna looks down at the table alluringly. "Are only co-workers invited to meetings like that?"

Joacim turns to Jenna, his smile radiant and his eyes shimmering. "Are we talking about a potential merge? Cause that can be arranged..."
