As I finally crashed through the front door that evening, I was beyond exhausted. I kicked off my shoes, dropped all my stuff in the hallway and followed the smell of something delicious into the kitchen.

"What have you cooked and how come I haven't eaten it yet?!"

Jenna smiled and placed a plate in front of me. "Risotto, darling! Dangerously creamy."

I took a bite, the delicious food almost melting on my tongue. "I love you."

"Are you talking to me or the food?"

"Both."

We laughed and she poured me a glass of pomegranate scented water.

"Okay, start talking. How was your first day?" She lifts her eyebrow seductively. "And how was your night? Cause based on when you got home this morning, I'd say the mysterious stranger can't have any mysteries left to reveal. "

"Oh, he did..." I sigh and look at her harshly. "You haven't checked your phone all day, have you?"

"Don't look at me like that! I'm an artist!" She throws her hands up in defence. "I didn't get out of bed until 2pm, and after that I've been painting and cooking dinner and then you came home. Who has time for technology?"

"The once listed as my ICE? I knew is should've put Lukas..."

"Hey – low blow!"

I smile at her, my 'In Case of Everything'-person, and I realise once more how much she means to me.

"Well, if you had checked your phone, you'd already know that the mystery man that made my toes curl last night..."

"Iiiiik, go on!"

"...happens to be an extremely annoying coworker since this morning."

"What?!"

So I filled her in on what had happened since I left the club with Finn last night and all the events of the day at work.

"Wow... okay... wow..." She turns in the kitchen, trying to wrap her head around it. "First of all, we are so hanging with Jennie soon! I already like her!"

I smiled at her comment and realised I did to. Jennie had really made today bearable and my gut told me she would probably brighten more of my days in the future.

"And second, who is hotter – Finn or Joacim?"

"Argh Jenna, I'm so done with those two for today! Can't we put on a move so I can fall asleep in your lap?"

"Fine. But I'm expecting pictures tomorrow." She smirked as I rolled my eyes.

"That is so not happening!"

"Oh shush! Go wash your make-up off and I'll choose a movie." She shoos me towards the bathroom. "Go!"

I sighed and jumped off the chair as she took my plate and placed it in the dishwasher.

Fifteen minutes later I came into the living room dressed in my pjs and curled up next to Jenna.

She waves the remote at me triumphantly. " 'Newsies' it is! Because you know how much I love Christian Bale and singing!"

"Works for me. Just please sit down during the dance routines! Last time you sprained your ankle trying to dance along."

"Deal!"

I smiled and a warm feeling spread in me. As long as she was my person, I'd get through anything.

Or so I thought at least...
