Gone were the monstrous trees tugging and pulling like demons trying to get past flesh.

Uncertainty clawed it's way right through me as i sailed onto my destiny one step at a time - onto a rugged bridge or at least what was left of one.

The wind that had intensely picked up pierced right through what little clothing i had on

Leaving me cold

The wails and horror of the sea crashing signaling for me to leave as a storm was brewing

Left me empty

The closer i got to the black mass of men, the murky puddles that i had so often stepped through turned a faint red marking his being.

After the pouring rain had soaked all through me, and i  finally stood before the aggressors i frantically looked for him. the boy with the blue eyes that mimicked the sea with that warm smile of his, but nothing of the such looked back at me. The face that looked back at my was beaten beyond recognition. eyes completely closed shut so that i couldn't see those beautiful piercing blue eyes. Bloody and bruised in every possible location you might think of. He was completely knocked out and if it wasn't for his faint breathing anyone who would've saw him curled up in a ball like this would have assumed he was dead.

Everything and everyone went still for a moment

But the moment my eyes strayed past the figure that was curled up on the ground, and locked eyes with the culprit, methodically clicking off the safety of the loaded pistol and aiming at the smug looking bastard. The moment was over and the 4 armed men surrounding me rushed into action. 3 of them gunning me down and one aimed at a barely breathing jason before me.

"Why don't you lower that gun of yours sweetheart. We wouldn't want you making any rash decisions ." the Joker finally spoke crushing the silence whilst raising his hands up in mock surrender.
