Gwen POV
"I also think the Mardan Palace in Turkey is an amazing venue for the wedding," Shawn said as we sat with our wedding planner, Alice in her office.
We've been in her office discussing our wedding plans for two hours now. So far so good. I hope I don't turn into a bridezilla because planning your wedding at times can be stressful and can take a toll on you.
She typed something in her tablet. "How many guests are you guys planning on having?"
"One hundred," Shawn and I said in unison. We looked at each other and I blushed.
I love Shawn so much. The man basically completes me. He's my ride or die.
Alice typed some more. "Since I kinda have a vivid picture of how much space we gonna need. Imma see what I can do," she said with her eyes still glued to her tablet. "That concludes our meeting for today," she smiled at us.
"If that's all then Gwen and I are good to go then," Shawn said getting up and I did the same. "Thank you for your time Alice."
I intertwined our fingers as we made it out of the office.
"Baby, I'm hungry," I pouted as we made it outside.
Shawn stopped and held my waist. "Let's go out for lunch then baby," he smiled and he pecked my lips. "I'll like to have some alone time with my bae."
We got to our separate cars and we were off.
Shawn POV
I pulled out Gwen's chair for her and we got seated in the restaurant. We decided to seat outside so that we can busk in the sun. It wasn't too hot, the weather was just right. We ordered and in a couple of minutes our food was given to us.
"I finally decided to open a new boutique," Gwen squealed in excitement.
I sighed as I slouched on my chair. "How much you going to need from me?"
She furrowed her eyebrows. "Why you saying it like that? I just need a million or two to open the boutique," she said.
I know that Gwen is an amazing business woman but her start-up capital bores a hole in my pocket. I may have millions but I do hate spending money.
"Don't you have investors or something?" I asked.
She rolled her eyes. "You are the 'investors' here baby," she said. "What's wrong? Don't you trust me? You know I'm the best business woman in this turf. You know for a fact that I'm gonna make huge profits out of it," she said as he held my hands from across the table.
I smiled at her. "I know that you're the best baby. I'll help you," I smiled at her.
She leaned closer and pecked my lips. "Thank you honey. I appreciate your sacrifices like when you liquidated all of Beyonce's assets to invest in my businesses. I truly appreciate it," she smiled at me.
Two years into dating Gwen I decided to liquidate all of Beyonce's assets since no one was taking care of them and I shut down all of her businesses too.
I believe I did the right because no one could run those businesses better than Beyonce. I made sure that all of her employees got other jobs.
"Thank you Shawn. You're the best," she said then she took a sip of her lemonade.
A part of me felt like, helping Gwen by liquidating Beyonce's assets was wrong. I don't understand why I felt like that because I know that Beyonce would have done the same since she has a big heart and is willing to help anyone. I was just doing something noble, I was helping Gwen who was in need.
