I waved to Alex who gave me ride a home, no thanks to Beck.
As soon as I walked into the house I saw boxes in the living room, kitchen, and dining room.
"Uh..?" I said as I came into the living room.
"Oh good you're here! Where is your brother?" Mom asked
"Oh...umm.. Yeah right well you see-"
Mom put her hand up "Beck ditched didn't he?"
I am such a bad liar!
"Well I guess he will have to hear the bad news later ." Dad said, coming up behind mom
"What bad news?" I asked, sitting down on the couch.
They both sighed and sat across from me. "Honey, we have to move." Dad said while looking down.
Mom put her hand on his leg and looked at me with concerned look.
"What?!" I yelled while standing up.
"El we are moving to England. Your dad and I got a promotion but the job is in England."
"When did you find out that we are moving to England?" I said while crossing my arms
"A few days ago"
"And you tell us this now! Do you know what this means?! I will have to leave the town that I grew up in! Leave the town where my friends are ! Leave the town that I-"
"Ellie ! Do you not understand how hard this is for us to tell you?" Dad yelled.
"Honey, we are trying our best. The least you can do is accept it." Mom said
"I don't have a choice do I?" I sighed then ran upstairs and slammed my door.
I ran to my bed and cried till I drifted asleep.

"So you're leaving huh?" James asked.
"I don't have a choice James." A tear escaped from my eye and landed on my cheek.
"I know you're crying. El why don't you and I just hang out? We can do something memorable." James asked
I wiped the tears that was streaming down my face " I would like that" I smiled.
"Alright! I will pick you up in 20 minutes."
"Ok see you soon" I hung up the phone and got ready.

James POV
After I hung up the phone I hurried up and got dressed.
I can't believe she is leaving! The girl I had a crush on since pre K is now leaving to go to England.
I love her so much I don't want her to leave, I'm sure nobody wants her to leave. Adam, Alex, and Kristy already know that I have this thing for her.
As soon as El told me that she was leaving I could hear my heart break into thousands of pieces! How am I supposed to tell her how I feel now?!
I sighed and shook the thought away.
After I got dressed I grabbed my phone and car keys.

I arrived at Ellie's house and went up to the door but before I could even ring the doorbell, she swung open the door to greet me.
Ellie came out of the house and into my car. I drove out the driveway and headed toward the place I know she will love.
Out of the corner of my eye I can see El, her eyes puffy and red. "Hey, Ellie, everything is going to be alright I promise." I said soothingly
She shook her head "No it's not going to be alright. I'm leaving this fucking country! How is it going to be alright?!"
"Come on El, it won't be that bad. You might meet new people out there. " I glanced at her beautiful face.
Maybe I should tell Ellie how I really feel about her before she leaves
I parked in front of the Empire State Building. "Uh... what are we doing here?" El asked as I stepped out of the car.
I opened the car door for her and grabbed her hand. " I thought you might like to see the whole city one more time." I smiled.
We went all the way to the top of the building and we walked towards the window. "Oh my god!" Ellie gasped at the breathtaking view.
"Umm Ellie there is something I wanted to tell you" I said as I stuffed my hands in my pocket.
It's now or never, I thought.
She turned to look at me. "El I should have said this from the beginning but now that your moving, I just wanted to tell you how I feel. How I felt about you." I stopped to see her reaction, but she had a blank expression so I continued "you have been there for me every step of the way, you have never kept a negative attitude. I can still remember how we met....."
~Flashback~
"Hey wanna play Legos with me and Alex?" Adam said
"Yeah sure let me go get my part of the Legos and I will be with you dudes soon." I said as I ran off to get my legos.
While I was running I slammed right into someone. As I looked up I saw the most pretty eyes I have ever seen.
"Oh I am so sorry I wasn't looking." The girl said.
"No it was my bad." I took her hand and helped her up.
"My name is Ellie Johnsan." She said has she dust off her skirt.
"My name is James Brook." I smiled
"Do you wanna play on the slide with me? " she pointed her little finger toward the green slide.
I looked back at where my friends are and they looked like they were having fun without me.
I turned back toward her."race ya there!" I said and her and I sprinted toward the big playground.
~flashback end~
"I won't ever forget about you El because....I'm in love with you and always will be." I looked into here big brown eyes when I said that and it looked she was about to cry.
I wrapped my arms around her fragile body and let cry.
"I'm sorry James." She said into my shirt.
