James POV
As soon as that left my mouth I wanted to bang my against the hard wall. I can't believe I said "I love you" to her!
God I'm so stupid!
She had wide eyes and mouth was slightly parted. "I-I...." She hesitated.
I baked away from her and ran my hand through my hair.
"I'm sorry I probably shouldn't have said but it is the truth El." I said to her
"I-" El started to say before she was interrupted.
"Hey Ellie is everything ok?" The kid name Niall asked.
She nodded her head and looked back at me.
"When can continue this conversation later " and she walked off with Niall.
God I hate that guy!
"Ellie wait!" I called out to her but she only glanced at me and turned her attention back to Niall.
I was so angry that we got interrupted again but this time Ellie do anything. Did she not feel the same way about me? Or was it too shocking for her?
I walked up to the group that were at the side of the pool and were sitting in lounge chairs. I sat down next to Alex and looked down while Kristy spoke.
"Guys we should do something!"
"How about we hit the club?" Adam asked.
"Yes!" We all cheered well except Ellie and I
"Hey you guys ok?" I heard Harry asked.
I looked up and glared at Niall.
"Leave me out. " and with that I got up and walked back into the house. The Johnsan had 5 different guest room so I put my luggage in the one that was next to Beck room. And don't worry I asked their parents to see if it was alright we stay here while we visited.
I flopped on the bed and stared at the ceiling. I heard a faint knock on my door.
"Go away!" I yelled
But the door opened.
I sat up while saying "I told yo-" I stopped because I realized it was the girl I love.
"Hey" she said softly.
"What do you want." I said bitterly.
I don't mean to sound harsh but she drives me crazy sometimes.
"I came here to apologize. " she looked down and sat next to me.
"El I-" I started to say before she interrupted me.
"I am sorry James for not saying I love you back and the reason why I didn't say it back was because for one I was shocked and I'm not sure I love you. I mean I love you as a best friend but when we kissed I didn't feel that spark. Like electricity going through your body when you kissed someone you truly love." She fiddled with her fingers.
"I felt that electricity though?" I took her hand and cupped her cheek.
She looked me in the eyes and I just couldn't resist her lip anymore.
I smashed my lips with hers. I moved my hand to her waist and pushed her gently onto my bed and got on top of her.
I pulled away and looked into her eyes. "And you didn't feel anything?" I asked her with a smirk.
"Maybe a little." She pulls my head back down to hers and she wrapped her legs around my waist.
I put my hands just a little under her shirt and I traveled up but the time I got near her bra she stopped me.
"I'm sorry El I lost control." I took my hands our from underneath her shirt and sat beside her.
"It's alright I'm just not ready yet." She said while sitting up.
"I understand" I said while smiling.
"El before your parents decided on moving here I wants to ask you if would like to be my girlfriend but I can't do long distance relationship. I would miss you too much and living in another country would just be hard." I said with tears in my eyes.
She kneeled down on both knees in front me and took my hands. "I never wanted to move and if we didn't j would have said yes. We can skip and I will give you my number. We can talk everyday. We can plan to visit each other. But can we remain best friends?"
"Best friends with benefits?" I smirked and she slapped me on the shoulder
"Pervert. Plus we wouldn't be able to do that because you live in another country."
"So what I'm hearing is that if you didn't move you would consider it?"
She laughed and smacked my arm again. "No! I was just trying to make a point."
My smile faltered and I sighed. "So when I get a girlfriend or when you get a boyfriend we will still continue to talk? Nothing coming in between us?" I asked.
"Nothing will ever come between us." Ellie said as she got up and so did I.
"So about that party?" I smiled.
"You going to come?" She said with excitement.
"I can reconsider." She jumped with joy and hugged me.
I love her and I won't love anyone else this much and that is a promise.
