We are now heading to the Concert Hall. We walk passed the Football Arena and waved Hi to Nathan Johannes, beside Filming Club we are all friends with other clubs as well. And besides, Nate is the most famous and most powerful varsity player in footy so it makes him approachable. And the fact that he is Nathalie's twin brother is another valid reason to befriend him.
We entered the Hall and the eerie silence welcome us.
After a moment or two, Aki whispered "Well, this is creepy."
"Yeah, it is totally creeping the hell out of me." Natalie.
"That describes Ms. Lamburg sometimes, we all know that." Michael said and snorted.
Luke and I nudge him harshly and he yelped "Ouch!"
"Shhh!" Aki and Hayley.
"Why me??!" Michael protested.
The spotlight flickered on. We stood still, waiting for a trap to pop up.
"Uhm, now what?" Aki said with boredom.
Silence. The hall was filled with silence for at least two minutes until we've heard a paper crumbling and right at the center of the stage Ms. Lamburg stood.
She clears her throat. "Urm, a pleasant late morning to you my dearest actors and actresses." She started.
My club mates and I exchange looks and in harmony we replied, "Well, greetings Ms. Lamburg."
She nodded. "My apologies to the lighting effects, I think I pulled the wrong fuse that's why only the craggy spotlight is turned on." She paused as she straighten her flourish-printed black skirt, her signature skirt, and look at the backstage door.
"All right, so I have chosen the newest male protagonist for our uhm, movie, Show Me Love, everyone please greet Mr. Calum Atheist." She said as she motioned him to come in front... And there he popped out to the center of the stage.
Atheist? What's that, his family name? Oooh, creeeeeepy.
We gave him an applause, anyway. Luke and Michael seemed to be excited, meeting new people is a great experience to them.
Alright, when it comes to Calum's physical feature, I would say he pretty much resembles Thomas, the male protagonist of the story. He's got the loner bad boy image. Pale-skinned, mussy raven-black hair, deep chocolate eyes, blank expression on his face, tall and lean. He perfectly portray the character better than Nick does. And he's got a Native American tattoo on his left arm and another tattoo on the left side of his chest just below his collarbone, but I can't picture it out it's like a code or something, his halfway unbuttoned flannel is blocking the inked skin. He can totally join the Gangsta Mike Group. Well, we call Michael's friends like that 'cause they looked like gangsters, cute one tho.
"Awesome! I think he can portray Thomas perfectly. Hey mate, it's Luke. The proud president of Theater Club." Luke is bragging his position again. He offered his hand to Calum but he just stared at it. Woah, one point for Lukey!
"Uhm, if you don't know. You're the main role here, mate. You'll be Thomas Masen, the, uhm, lost boy who will meet the, urhm, dreamer and easy-go-funny-not-lucky girl named, Michaela Hood, and she's your leading lady..." Michael said as he pointed me. "Uh, hi." I shyly said.
Wow! He.Did.Nothing. He's a total snob.
"Well," Ms. Lamburg interjected. "Calum here is a transfer student from Sydney, Australia. He's been to SUE for three months now. And Mrs. Sullivan, the detention/guidance counselor as you all know, recommend him as the replacement for Nick. And for uhm, for his misbehavior and this task is his punishment." Ms. Lamburg proclaimed.
