CHAPTER THIRTEEN~ REPLACING LAILA?

I stared at myself in the mirror rubbing my tiny, almost two month baby bump. I sighed and felt a tear run down my cheek, I quickly wiped it away as I heard footsteps.

"Baby..."

I looked up and saw Michael leaning against the wall with his hands in his pockets.

I sighed wiping away another tear. "....yeah?"

Michael leaned off the wall and walked towards me, wrapping his arms around my waist. "You okay?" I nodded, wiping my tears away "Yeah, I'm good..just nervous"

"Why, it's just Reign?" He asked, raising a brow.

I shrugged and sighed "She's the last to know I'm pregnant! You know how she gets when she feels left out!...I just don't want her to be pissed, it's the last thing I need right now" I grabbed some tissue and wiped my tears away. I took a deep breath and walked out of Michael's arms, walking out the room. I carefully walked down the stairs, feeling Michael's hand at the small of my back.

Once I got to the final step, the front door opened revealing Reigndrop.

I froze as she stared at my stomach. I watched as tears formed in her eyes, She let out a gasp causing me and Michael to flinch a little thinking she was gonna yell but we both relaxed as she slowly placed her hands on my belly.

"How many months?" She whispered "almost two" She nodded while gently kissing my belly. "Does everybody know already?"

I looked over at Michael with a fearful look but all he did was shrug. I gave him a 'You Are No Help' look and turned back to Reign "Um...yeah, they do"

I watched as her eyes dimmed a little, "Yall found out when I was gone....didn't yall?"

I nodded "Yeah, I was gonna call you but you was on yah break and I ain't wanna bother you"

She nodded "I get it, it's okay. I'm happy for yall and I'm even happier to be a auntie"

I smiled while Michael's arms wrapped around my waist. "See, you had nothin' to worry about" he whispered then kissed my cheek. "Well Imma be back, I gotta pick Janet up from work"

I nodded while sitting down on the couch "Why she saying so late though?" Michael shrugged "...i don't know" "I do" We both turned to Reign "She said she was working extra hours and Latoya was using her car for the day"

Michael nodded and gave me a kiss then shoved Reign's head as he walked out the door. Once he was gone, Reign turned around and gave me a disappointed look.

"What's wrong Reign?"

She crossed her arms "So you replacing Laila"

My eyes widened "How am I replacing her?"

"You ain't grieving over her! So instead of doing that, yall replacing her with another baby!"

I slowly got up and got in her face "Yes we did grieve and we ain't replacing her!"

She got up and shoved her finger in my chest "Michael may be done but you ain't! You wanna be so damn tough and act like ain't nothing happened!"

"I AIN'T ACTIN TOUGH, I GOT OVER HER AND MOVED ON...WHY IS THAT SO FUCKING HARD TO UNDERSTAND!"

"So that guilt ain't eating you up inside?" I raised a brow "what guilt, I didn't do anything!"

"You ain't do anything? Ha! BULLSHIT, YO DUMBASS INSECURITIES OVER A NIGGA YOU WASN'T EVEN WITH DID IT, YOU GETIN IN THAT DAMN CAR DID IT, YOU FLYING THROUGHT THAT RED LIGHT DID IT! INSTEAD OF OWNING UP, YOU THINK HAVING A WHOLE NOTHER BABY WILL MAKE IT BETTER...WELL IT WON'T!

I felt my heart beating fast and slowly loosing my breath, I sat down and took a deep breath. I started crying "I wasn't the one who brought her lil fast ass friend to LIVE WITH US AND DON'T SAY I WAS OKAY WITH IT BECAUSE I WASN'T"

Reign scoffed "REALLY YOU BLAMING THIS OM ME!"

"YES CUZ EVEN WHEN I SAID NO, YOU SNUCK HER AROUND AND LET HER STAY. SHE WAS ALL IN MICHAEL'S FACE TRYNA GET WITH HIM AND YOU JUST LET IT HAPPEN! I KEPT TELLING YO ASS TO KICK HER TO THE FUCKING CURB AND INSTEAD OF SLEEPING WITH MY NIGGA SHE SLEPT WITH YOURS!...that's karma for you!"

Reign pushed me down on the couch and grabber her bags. I hissed feeling a pain in my belly.

I rubbed my belly as she walked out the door "GO TO FUCKING HELL BITCH"

I groaned and took another breath " YOU GO AND TELL BECKY I SAID WASSUP!"
