"Tikki, I don't think i'll be able to move on from Adrien anymore like I had planned to." Marinette said, propelling herself onto her bed in a dramatic fashion. She spread her arms out, across her bed, she felt her fingers touch the corner of the mattress. Marinette sighed into her pillow. She rolled over to where her face was facing her ceiling.

"That's understandable, Marinette, You've been hopelessly in love with him for years." Tikki flew in front of her holders face, smiling at her. She nuzzled her face in a comforting/loving manner.

"Thanks Tikki." Marinette said, looking lovingly at her Kwami.

She slyly looked aside and saw in her peripheral vision, Adrien's light brown jacket still wrapped around her shoulders.

She gasped in shock. She had forgotten she still had it on.

Marinette sat up, grabbing her glittery clutch, opening it. She fished her phone out and opened it, going to Adrien's contact.

M - Adrien?

She patiently waited for his response, starting to panic over stupid things.

What is he's asleep? No, he shouldn't be asleep. It was only 9:30pm. Or what if he decided he doesn't want to talk to her anymore? What if-

Her thoughts got interrupted by a ping signaling he texted back!!

A - Yeah, Mari?

M - Well.. I kinda accidentally still have your jacket..I can give it back tomorrow?

A- No- I mean, you can keep it until I might need it back.

M - Oh, okay thank you, Adrien.

Marinette squealed, grabbing a near by pillow, pulling it close to her chest and burying in her face, muffling her happy squeal.

She moved the pillow back onto her comforter, hearing her phone ping.

A - Goodnight, 'girlfriend'.

M - Goodnight, 'boyfriend'. She added the laughing emoji just for good measure.

She teased back, laughing at herself. She climbed down her loft bed and walked over to her dresser, grabbing a pair of dark grey night shorts and a light pink crewneck sweater.

Marinette quickly changed into her night clothes for the night, then opened her trapdoor, heading down to to the living space her family shared.

She took notice that her parents were asleep in their bedroom. She headed to the kitchen, turning on a lamp for a little light.

She opened a cupboard and grabbed a small glass. She put a few ice cubes in the bottom of the glass.

Marinette opened the fridge, grabbing a pitcher of water.

She poured a little bit of water into the small glass. The secret super heroine noticed a few macaroons in the fridge as she put the pitcher of water away.

She grabbed a few before heading upstairs to her room.

Marinette closed the trapdoor behind her, noticing Tikki sitting on her desk, waiting for her. She walked over, giving Tikki a macaroon. Her Kwami thanked her silently.

Marinette logged into her computer as she sat down at her desk chair.

The last thing she remembered before conking out was her turning on 'Hercules'.

"Marinette, sweetie?" Sabine opened the trapdoor, walking in, spotting her daughter fast asleep at the desk. She smiled before heading over to her daughter. She shook Marinette's shoulder, lightly.
