They had numerous dates. The cafes, amusement parks, long drives and even the library. Lucas was loud and tall. Man was a tree. But the way he would cutely make himself small when he sat next to the other, lower his voice in the library. Jump excitedly like a kid when they went to buy food.
It made Mark so happy.
Not a day went by where he wasn't happy with him. Those smiles would stay all through the night, with sweet dreams about their day replaying again and again in his head.
He should give it another chance. Falling in love with Lucas might be for the better. Their dates were always fun and he felt like he was safe.
He should fall in love again.
