*Warning, this chapter gets a bit gorey*
BOOM! With one kick the white haired girl with bunny ears and a tail had kicked down the door. "Well, well, well, what do we have here. Someone trying to save poor, helpless Y/n, pathetic." The man snarled, "Do you really think your going to get them that easily." He said stepping into the light. The luminous bulb shinned down onto him, his scars were shown brighter, the stapes on his skin glimmering under the light. "Just give her back and we won't have a problem," The bunny firmly stated. Before she had come in, when he heard footsteps he injected a serum into your arm that made you pass out.
"Looks like you picked the wrong fight Miss hops a lot, you won't stand a chance," declared the boy. "Who said I came here for a fight in the first place, and besides we won't have to if you cooperate with me." The bunny announced. Before the scarred man could say anything the bunny ran towards him and kicked him in the face. The collision caused his head to turn and blood splattered out of his mouth onto the ground. As the man recovered from the hit he had tried to right hook punch the bunny. But by time he swung his fist the bunny had moved out of the way.
Each of the opponents had there own pros and cons to this fight. The bunny was very agail and could move around easily. She also had very powerful kicks and punches. The man on the other hand normally relied on his fire quirk to much, he himself was not very fast. He was average in strength but average was nothing compared to the bunny. The fight was like a perfect matchup if the were training, but since it was not training there was an obvious fighting gap. The bunny was only able to use close up attacks while the man could only do distance ones.
Hawks could hear the sound of fire and grunts. Even though he was stabbed in the side, he wasn't walking weirdly, just a bit slower. The blood from his side stained his shirt and glove red. Since this wasn't Hawks's first time with an injury like this he knew what to do and kept pressure on it. The hallway felt like it was going on forever until he saw an area up ahead that looked like a door frame with no door. As he walked up to it, he realized the door had been kicked in. He knew that Miruko was here or still was. Walking into the door he saw ashes and still lit blue fires around the room. Hawks was in his own world trying to figure out what was going on.
The scarred man had his hand out ready to shoot fire at Hawks who was basically standing still and zoned out. "HAWKS! WATCH OUT!" The bunny had yelled, she was not able to grabs Hawks's attention, even though she was in pain she was able to kick the man down before her friend had gotten hurt. The loud sound of the man hitting the ground had finally woken Hawks up from his trance.
"Hawks are you okay?" The bunny questioned.
"I'm fine, it's nothing bad. How much do those burns hurt?" Hawks asked.
"They hurt a lot more when I first got them, they're starting to feel better now," answered Miruko.
The scarred man hastily got back up from the floor, not finished with the fight that was still on going. "Miruko get the kid, I got Dabi" Hawks looked at his partner then gave her the nod to go. Hawks and fire was not a good idea, he was already injured and fire was his weakness. Feathers and fire don't do well when they are up against each other. Miruko ran toward you hurrying to untie you. You were finally starting to wake up from the drug but it was hard to stay conscious. You were fading in and out. Miruko knew the only way to get you to safety was leaving Hawks and then going back for him.
Hawks was trying his hardest to keep Dabi distracted from the two of you. Even though he did his best, it was not enough. Dabi caught a glimpse of Miruko running through the door with you in her hands. "You're not going anywhere," Dabi smirked surrounding the floor by the door with a tall fire. Miruko stopped herself right before the fire and laid you down by a wall that was not affected. "C'mon kid we could really use you here, please wake up" she softly whispered to you. She noticed you were only able to stay up for a few seconds at a time. Miruko lightly slapping your cheek so you would wake up.
Hawks was struggling to fight off Dabi, his stab wound was getting worse, more blood was dripping down his side and his coat. Hawks barely had any of his feathers left to use, he already used to much. It's not like his wings were the most useful inside, but he had to save them to get everyone out. No matter how hard Hawks was fighting Dabi's fire was to much for his bird self.
"Do you have a quirk that we could use right now?" Miruko whispered.
"Y-yes, b-but I can't use it. T-they injected me with something so I can't use it right now." You stammered still trying to stay awake.
"I know it's going to be hard but do you think you could fight it or maybe it wore off a bit?" Miruko replied. She wasn't fully wrong some of it did wear off by now but you couldn't tell how much. Alternating through the different elements with something stopping you from using your full power felt like it was impossible. Your powers needed you to have energy but you were fighting off a sleeping drug. How much were you able to use? Would you overexert yourself? All you had to do is not use your fire, not that hard. Right?
"You got this!" Miruko said looking you in the eyes before you got up. Your body was still so weak, you were shaking. Dabi nor Hawks had noticed you quite yet. You were able to take water from the moist air and use it. Since you were still weak to use your own water, using water around made it easier. You but out the fire blocking the exit, you were ready to leave but you knew you had to save the other Pro Hero who was fighting for you. You knew you would overexert yourself, but you had to save him or at least help him.
It would be hard to use the iar part of your quirk in such a small room but you had to do it. You saw the opening you needed and jumped in front of Hawks. You clapped and as you clapped Dabi went flying into the wall. He was still able to blast fire toward you but at least this time you grabbed more water from the air and used it as a shield. Hawks saw that you were struggling and using to much power right now. Hawks tried to grab you so yo wouldn't injure yourself but before he could you walked over to Dabi. You used the wall Dabi had his back braced against and creating cuffs around his wrists and legs.
You started to feel light headed and tried to fight it but it didn't work. You blacked out once again. Yet this time Hawks caught you. "I'll fly us to the nearest hospital" Hawks stated looking at his partner. "Hawks, your weak enough as is, I'll walk there so it's not as hard to fly, and I'll take the kid." Miruko reprimanded. Her injuries were not early as bad as Hawks. She only had burn marks while Hawks was still bleeding from his stab wound in his side. "Miruko, it's fine I got them, it was my side that got stabbed not my back, and besides I have enough of my feathers back.
Hawks walked out the door and spread his wings taking flight. Miruko watched before she walked in the same direction to the hospital. She kept looking up to see that Hawks had made it okay. When the three of you had gotten into the hospital, you all went different ways. Hawks went to get stitches for his stab wound, Miruko went to get treated for the burns. You were brought to a room to monitor your stats since you were in a coma like state.
