Skies The Limit (Hawks x reader)

The Flashbacks

You were wandering down the street to waste time until you were going to your agency for some late night work. As you were walking a heavy scent of chicken filled your nose, you were already hungry so you decided to go there anyways. While walking mindlessly you accidentally bump into a man with messy light blue hair. "S-sorry sir" you mumbled looking down at the ground, the memories of brother flooded through your head. It was getting harder to remember your childhood everytime you started to think to deeply about it.

You brush it off and order your food. After a few minutes you hear everyone in the restaurant cheering, you turn to see the Number 2 hero Hawks walking in. You did not want to stay for the traffic since everyone would wanna be there. You quickly finish up the food, put your hood up and look down so no one could see your face. As you try to walk by Hawks blocks you from leaving and says, "Leaving  so soon, even though the Number 2 Hero is here."

"I need to g-get somewhere f-fast" you swiftly made up the lie on the spot. While you were walking out your phone began to ring, it was from your agency, so it had to be important. "Y/N Y/N PLEASE GET HERE WE NEED YOU THERE'S A FIRE HEL-" the phone cut off before anything else could be said. You run out and was able to catch a taxi cab, luckily they got there almost instantly. You jump out before the cab could even stop movin, you sprint towards the building activating your water quirk.

You hear screams from every direction, everywhere you went you had to put out the fire. It wasn't an ordinary fire it was different shades of blue. It didn't come to your mind at first, until  you got everybody out and one girl turned to you and said  "It was HIM," before she ran off. You stood there in shock, your body was petrified, your mind went blank. How is all you could think. When your body wasn't as tense you started to walk back to your apartment.

He was all that went through your head while walking. You wish you could forget but it just wouldn't leave your head. The memories from the incident was all that truly came to mind. You missed the old him, even him a bit after what happened. He was so loving, so careing , so sweet. After the incident he was the same on the inside, until the day it all went sideways. You thought of the few months before he changed, you loved it. Tears filled your eyes, you were hurt but didn't want to admit to it. That day he changed you just were enjoying the evening when, Shigaraki broke into your apartment, he said your boyfriend for your life. Your boyfriend knew he could not bare the pain of losing you so he joined them.

After that he completely changed, you didn't want anything to do with that him then and you sure as hell didn't want anything to do with him now. You wish you could just go back and find an alternative way. You could not bare to think he was back. After he changed you only saw him once and that one time was hard enough. To think that he was back felt like someone drove a stake down your back. 

Each step you took made your legs feel like they were on fire, you could barely make it to your block. Your legs were giving out at any thoughts you had. You had finally made it to your building, when you saw a figure in your apartment. Since you were so tired you thought that you were seeing things. You hoped off of the elevator and opened you apartment door. The room was filled with smoke.
