I shivered as we arrived at the pond and Jake wrapped his leather jacket around my shoulders "aren't you cold?" I asked, he smirked "the cold doesn't bother me" he replied, I giggled "Elsa?" I said.
He shot me a look "absolutely not." He said, I smirked and sat down next to the edge of the pond and took off my boots so I could soak my feet in the water.
Jake joined me and I sighed "why don't you hang out with any other people...?" I asked, he looked at me hurt in his eyes "you don't like my company?" He asked. I looked at him in shock "no no! That's not what I meant I just mean...you hang out with me a lot, don't you have any other friends?" I asked.
Jake smiled "I do...but he's on a year long mission right now..." he said. I raised an eyebrow "year long mission?" I asked, he chuckled "slendy sent him a job to acquire some equipment from England, but when he got there the equipment wouldn't be finished for a year so he's in England till they're done" he explained.
I nodded and looked at the water, the rainbow surface rippled in waves as Jake and i's feet glided through the water gently. "What's his name?" I asked, Jake looked at me "who?" He asked.
"Your friend..." I said, he chuckled "oh yeah, his names Asher...his mom is Rainbow Factory" he said.
"I see"
He stared at the water and I looked at the sky before it rippled kinda like the water, I raised an eyebrow and stood up in curiosity.
Jake looked at me and watched me intently as I raised a hand to the sky, my hand disappeared slightly through ripples of water. My eyes widened and I looked at jake, he locked eyes with me and smiled before walking over "is it calling to you?" He asked, I nodded.
"I want to go" I said, Jake frowned "are you sure you want to go?" He asked. I nodded and he sighed before taking my hand as we disappeared into a cloud of blue snowflakes and appeared in front of a half burnt down mansion that was bigger then slenderman's mansion.
My eyes widened as I remembered it from my childhood, the one that would forever haunt me till the end of my life...the one my mother died in...
Jake watched me with worry in his eyes as I let go of his hand and walked towards the mansion. I stepped over some fallen boards and ran my hand up the remaining parts of the banister and smiled sadly.
"Hey jake..." I called, Jake walked towards me "yeah?"
I frowned "do you think I could have some alone time...?" I asked, he smiled and nodded "I'll stay outside and wait for you, take as long as you want" he said. I nodded as he left the ruins of the house.
I walked up the steps, watching for any holes in them so I wouldn't fall through and turned into a long hallway that lead to Harley and i's room.
I pushed open the door gently and walked into the room, smiling at the twin beds across from each other on opposite sides of the room with sheer blue and pink curtains hiding the contents inside. I pushed aside the curtain to my bed and sat down, dust billowing into the air.
I coughed slightly and picked up the doll that sat in the middle amongst all my stuffed animals, the doll was made of glass with long curly blonde hair and a beautiful gown on. The dolls eyes gleamed a beautiful blue color just like our mothers eyes and I held the doll against my chest.
I took deep breathes holding back tears and fell backwards onto the bed, more dust, more sneezing. I relaxed and looked at the mural on the ceiling of a goddess purifying her people and healing the wounded.
The goddess was not only a queen she was a warrior who defended the weak and poor while the king defended the strong and the rich. They didn't get along and yet they were married, why? The story never clarified that but I always thought that maybe...they were married because they didn't have a choice...maybe they were married because of their parents orders.
I sighed and glanced at harley's bed before leaving the room and walking to the end of the hall and stopping in front of a door, a door I never wanted to enter ever again.
I took in a sharp breath and pushed open the door, catching sight of millions of papers scattered across the floor. Shattered and tattered pictures everywhere, I avoided the glass and picked up a paper with my free hand and read over it before tossing it away and waking over to my fathers desk.
I ran my fingers over the dusty surface and sat down in the office chair that kye had sat in multiple times, I growled and sat the doll in my lap before patting her head and looking at more papers on his desk.
Nothing interesting until I found a paper with a sort of spell on it, my eyebrows furrowed as I read the spell "what the hell were you planning..." I whispered, I rolled up the paper and tucked it into my pocket before standing up and leaving the room.
I was halfway down the hall when the door to the basement I was forbidden in opened slowly and a gust of wind carried a voice through the hall.
