Chapter twenty one: lonely and lonelier

Laughing Jessica's p.o.v.

I yawned as I walked through the woods and stopped in dead silence when I heard yelling and shouting and gunshots, my eyes widened and I hid behind a tree before peeking out and watching.

I raised an eyebrow and watched in horror, the scene was an absolute bloodbath, so many people dead and yet...no one was stopping it.

I stiffened when a woman appeared levitating in the air above everyone watching, she was gorgeous.

Long blonde curly hair floating above her, long thick eyelashes, a beautiful dress, her eyes a beautiful pink and purple hue. Her eyes flickered around before landing on me, my eyes widened and she smiled slightly.

"You should get out of here....Harley...." she whispered in my mind, I stiffened.

Why was that name so familiar....?

I nodded and without hesitation ran before stopping a few miles away and looking back just as a bright light flashed from where the fight was happening outwards.

And then....I couldn't move and soon....it seemed like I was stuck in a dream....a happy one....full of happy people...

Akemi's p.o.v.

Once everyone was frozen I fell limp to the ground losing all the magic power I had almost feeling like it was sucked out of me. I groaned and looked around at everyone, they were all individually frozen in a thick layer of pinkish ice with the 5 symbols in ice floating above and around them all.

All of a sudden it felt lonely...like I was alone, I stared hopelessly hoping someone would've survived.

I closed my eyes trying to reverse the spell I used but it didn't work and soon I was on the ground crying.

I was alone...surrounded by all of my friends...I had no one....no one to keep me company...even the humans were affected.

A hand touched my shoulder and I flinched before they soon wrapped around my neck in a hug, I stiffened thinking it was a dream when I felt hot wet tears hit my shoulder.

I glanced over and saw Jake crying for the first time...holding onto me for dear life, I bit my lip and turned before grasping him in a tight hug.

He was the only one left...and probably only because he was the embodiment of control...

"It'll be alright" he whispered cresting his chin on my head so I couldn't see him cry, I screamed in fear, anger, and sadness all at once.

I was alone....no......"we" were alone....everyone else....were empty bodies in thick shells....like an empty crab shell abandoned by its passed habiter.

2 weeks later....

I looked at Jake and smiled weakly as he took my hands in his and placed the ring on my finger before whispering the words "you may kiss the bride"

He pulled me close and hugged me tightly before kissing me passionately. I blushed and wrapped my arms around his neck.

There was no one stopping us now...we needed each other in this time of loneliness...

He grabbed my thighs gently before hoisting me into the air and traveling to the thrones that we had created for each other and sat me down before kneeling halfway on the throne and kissing me.

I breathed deeply and answered his request slipping my tongue into his mouth to explore the new lands.

He did the same as I gripped his hair gently, he pulled away gasping for breathe and looked me in the eyes. I nodded and then he entered me and I gasped.
