Perrie

"Are you excited about your game?" I ask the child while I look for her snack. Jade and Leigh were still in the car and all I could think about was if Jade's telling her. Then I thought about how she wouldn't unless everyone was together.

Though, Jesy already found out and urged to just tell her while she's at work. She finds it cute and humorous when Leigh would tell one of us something that we already knew.

Andrea shared with us then how she gets when there's news involving her kid. Like when Lia joined her school's football team and told us first. She then called Leigh to tell her and when we got home, she was quick to share that with us.

She was like a little kid on Christmas. Actually, she looked a lot like her daughter in that moment.

"Yeah! We're playing against our rivals. I can't wait," she practically bounces in her seat once I put her favorite snack in front of her. "Thanks, Mummy Perrie," she smiles, earning her a kiss on her forehead. "You're welcome, babes," I smile back.

Just then, the front door opens. I peek out of the kitchen to see Jade coming in with Leigh not too far behind. She was looking like a kid, which made me wonder if Jade did tell her.

I give Jade a questioning look and she shakes her head subtly.

Phew.

"Mummy Perrie, is everything okay?" Lia suddenly asks softly. I knit my brows together. "Of course, Baby Lee-Lee," I say, playing with her ponytail. "What made you ask?"

She looks up at me for a minute with a pondering look on her face. A few moments pass before Lia's expression turns to realization.

"What is it?" I ask her.

She glances behind me very briefly before leaning up and whispering, "Are you pregnant?" My eyes widen and I subconsciously place a hand over my belly.

"What makes you think that?" She squints a bit, "You just look... glowy. My Aunt Chelsea's pregnant, but it doesn't look like it. She's glowing, too."

This causes my eyes to expand more. She then giggles, showing her missing teeth. "Don't worry, I won't tell, Mummy." I let out an exaggerated sigh, "Thank you, pet."

"Your secret's safe with me," she whispers then nudges me with her elbow. I chuckle at her, going into the fridge for myself.

"When did you find out?" She asks me once I had gotten a bag of Wotsits and took a seat beside her. I look at the child and sigh, "For a week or so, now."

"Why haven't you told her yet?" She asks, looking confused. "It's a surprise." I turn my whole body towards her and put my hands in my lap.

"Wanna know somethin' else?" She nods. This time, I get closer to whisper to her.

"I'm not the only one pregnant," I say. "Who else is?" She tilted her head to the side. "You got one chance to guess," I tell her.

She rubs her chin thoughtfully while making a humming noise. "Ummm... is it Mummy... Jade?" I smile, nodding. She gasps with wide eyes. "Really?"

I nod my head, "Aye." I rub my stomach in slow circles. "I'm gonna be a big sister!" She squeals, a little too loudly.

"Shhh," I put my finger on my lips and she apologizes. "Sorry, sorry," she says. I smile at her and plant a kiss on her forehead.

If there was any doubt Lia wasn't Leigh's, there isn't any now.

"When are yous telling her? Does Mummy Jesy know?" She asks in a much quieter volume. I hum in confirmation, "She was actually the first to know."

She sticks her hand in the Pringles can, but pauses a second later.

"Are you gonna tell Mum soon?" I nod, "Jade and I were gonna tell her together. I'm just waitin' for her to tell me when she's ready to."

"Makes sense," she replies then we sit in a comfortable silence while we ate.

"What are you gonna name it?" She asks after a moment. I smile a bit, glancing down at my still flat stomach. "I'm not sure yet. Maybe you can help me pick names?"

Her eyes brighten up, "I can?" I chuckle with a nod, "Since you're the big sister." She does a little dance in her seat while smiling, showing her missing tooth on the bottom row.

"I can teach them how to play football then we can go to the park and play with my friends from school!"

"By the time they're big enough, you'd probably be finishin' secondary school," I say and she shrugs.

"That's okay. I'd still play with them," she says and I shake my head fondly. "You say that now, but I'm sure you'd change your mind when they start annoyin' you."

"You mean like how Kailum annoys me? Mummy, there's no way it can get any worse than that lad," I laugh with her, getting out a few Wotsits from the bag.

"You're gonna be a great big sister, y'know," I say to the nine year old. "You really think so?" She asked with wide, bright eyes. "Pssh-yeah!"

She giggles.

Just then, my phone that was in my back pocket vibrates.

I dig for it and saw that I had a text message from Jade. I unlock my phone to read what it says.

Jeed💜

-You and Lia come in here. We're watching a movie. Also I'm ready to tell her.

My eyebrows nearly reach my hairline, which our daughter must've caught on to.

"What is it?" I look her way, grinning, "Looks like we're tellin' her now."

After texting Pez, I set my phone down on the nightstand and cuddled back into Leigh's side. She had the remote in her hand, flipping through Netflix.

"Why don't you wait 'til they get in here so we could choose together?" I ask, fiddling with her bellybutton piercing. "I'm just seeing if there's anything good. So far, nothing," she sighs.

"They'll be here in a few seconds then we can all pick." Just then, Lia and Perrie comes in with snacks in their hands.

Well, their snacks.

"Yous pick anythin' yet?" Perrie asks while stuffing her face with Wotsits. "We were actually waiting for you two," Leigh says. Lia sets her can of Pringles down on the nightstand before jumping onto the bed, getting on Leigh's other side.

Perrie gets on soon after, occupying my other side.

"Can you pass me my snack please?" Lia points to the can in which Leigh gives it to her. "Anything you wanna watch, Baba?" She asks the child. "Doesn't matter. As long as it's not scary."

About half way into the film we chose, I glance over at Perrie, who nods. "Want me to do it?" She mouths and I shake my head. "Together."

She nods again and sits up from her spot on my shoulder, looking over at our girlfriend.

"Lee-Lee?" Both of them turn their heads at the same time, "Yeah?" Perrie chuckles, "Not you, Baby Lee-Lee."

"Oh, okay," she turns back to the movie, now eating Perrie's Wotsits.

"What is it, Pez?" Leigh-Anne asks, brows furrowed when she noticed the glance I gave the blonde. "What's going on?"

Before Perrie could begin beating around the bush, I say, "We're pregnant."
