It's been a few days now since we went shopping. My daily phone calls with Jimin got more aggressive. I started to think that I should actually call him at a reasonable hour....nah.

I just finished eating dinner when he called me.

"Hello, best friend!" I said.

"The daily report best friend."

"I have nothing to report at the moment, Jimin. Why do you ask?"

"Is Jungkook home?"

"well he's always home so yeah, he is. And he wore an apron while making dinner oh my God you should've seen him! But I don't know what he's up to right now." I said and thought about Jungkook wearing that green apron that I didn't even know I had.

"Okay well I'm coming there."

"No you're no-" I blinked.

I heard knocks on the door right after Jimin hung up. This bastard! Why would he even come here?

I went to the door and opened it. Guess who? My best friend, Park Jimin. He had a blank face, trying to be serious, of course.

"Okay wh-"

I didn't get to finish because he just pushed past me and went in the living room. How rude! I shouldn't have opened the door. But then again, he has a key too. Ughhhh.... Wait. Jungkook was in the living room- SHOOT!

I rushed to the living room. Jimin was already sitting on the couch, analyzing everything Jungkook does. And there was Jungkook, on the other side of the couch, staring confused at the peasant who just entered.

I went next to Jungkook and tried to smile but Jimin pushed me with his leg so I couldn't sit in between them. Giving him a glare I took the other smaller couch close to Jungkook's side.

"So you're Jungkook" Jimin said.

"Uhh y-yeah..." Jungkook whispered and bowed slightly. Poor Jungkookie was scared because of this weird man. It saddened me look at such a painful scene.

"And you are homeless."

"WAS. He is not homeless anymore and that won't change." I answered before Kookie did. He looked uncomfortable.

"I didn't ask you but okay." Jimin said. He really is good at keeping that straight face. I swear to God if he'll keep this up until Jungkook cries I'll kick him out.

"You can stop it" I said and crossed my arms. My best friend looked at me and I raised an eyebrow until he finally relaxed and sighed.

"Fine~. So Jungkook" he turned to face Jungkook again but this time with a playful smile. It's probably just me but I think the younger was even more scared of this Jimin. "what are you planning to do now that you have a place to live temporary"

"It's not temporary" I huffed.

"Uhhh I'll start job h-hunting I uh guess"

"what kind of job? What did you do before you were homeless? You were 18 when you got kicked out so you must have finished high school, right?"

"I uh.... I finished high school yes... I studied economics and uh I don't know what job I'll find" this was just painful to watch. I stood up and went next to the door, leaning on the wall with my arms crossed.

"And where are your parents now?"

"Jimin!" I said, warning him to stop. This guy is always so straight-forward. Too straight-forward.

"It's okay" Jungkook said in a calmer voice now. He had a blank face and was staring at the floor. "You gave me so much, I could never pay you back for all this. You deserve to at least know what happened and why you found me on the street in the first place" he continued and looked at me.

"Just a second!" I said and quickly pulled out my phone from my back pocket.

I texted Jimin.

To: Rude Minnie
Get out

Jimin's phone buzzed and he took it out too. After he saw the message he gasped and looked at me in disbelief. We're so dramatic jeez.

Rude Minnie

Wtf we're going to find out some tea and you throw me out?!

Me:
It's an important moment for our relationship! You're the broken 3rd wheel. Get out

You're unbelievable! 😩😤

Me:

Love you👁️👄👁️💕

...
Love you too😤

Jimin put his phone back and stood up. Jungkook looked up to him confused. He didn't even move while Jimin and I were texting.

"Well maybe next time, Jungkook. I have to go for a very important reason" he said and gave me the biggest and fakest smile he could. I returned the favor and then showed him the door.

After making sure that he left I went back to Jungkook, who was more relaxed now.

"I'm sorry for him. He's always like that." I said.

"It's fine... I didn't have anyone like that. I didn't have any real friends so it feels nice to see your friendship." he said and smiled sadly.

"You don't have to tell me if you're not ready"

I sat next to him on the couch and took his hands in mine. He looked at them for a minute, then sighed and pulled them back.

And he started.

Uh hi lol this chapter is shorter because it would be too long if Jungkook explained his past. So I'll continue this in the next chapter. Hope you like this story so far by the way.
