Jungkook's pov

So today while Taehyung hyung was at work, Jimin came over. Surprisingly he called me to tell me he's coming. Tae must have given him my number. We sat on the couch and I made some tea because, well, that's all we had at home.

I wonder why Taehyung doesn't like coffee. I stopped drinking coffee after I became homeless because even a dollar was important and could make a difference. Coffee would've been a waste of money. But he can buy lots of it, expensive ones too. I won't judge, I guess.

(A/N: It's because I don't like coffee either Jungkook so deal with it,, coffee is disgusting to me, no offense. Now let's get on with the story-)

"So Jungkook, as you definitely don't know what I'm here for, I will tell you." Jimin leaned back on the couch and looked at me with a smile. "I'm here for you."

..... Say what?

"Um come again? Why would you be here for me?"

"Well you need friends and what better friend than your future hus- i mean your housemate's best friend could there be, right?" he's not wrong. Although Taehyung is also my friend, not just a housemate. Friend. Sounds odd for some reason.

"Oh.. Uh yeah sure." then after a moment I asked "then.. Can I ask you a question?"

"Duh that's why I'm here. we can take turns to ask questions. Go on!" he seemed way more excited than a normal person would be. Or I don't know maybe it's just me who thinks that. Welp, here goes nothing.

"How long have you and Taehyung been friends?" I asked hesitantly.

"16 years. Probably even more but we've been inseparable best friends since we were 10. Before that we'd occasionally greet each other and play y'know."

Wow they've been friends for so long. I hope me and hyung will stay together just as much. Now that I thought about it, I said that after I get a job and I'll have enough money I will move out in my own apartment or house..

I'm not gonna lie, it doesn't sound as good as it did at first anymore.

"Are you a virgin?" I literally flinched.

"I- uh- I uh... Y-yeah I am" I felt the heat spreading from my ears to my cheeks and basically my whole face.

"Huh, so he's gonna be the first.." he mumbled something but I didn't quite hear it properly.

"what?"

"Oh nothing, just minor details." he said and took a sip from his tea.

"Right.. Um do you work somewhere? Tae hyung mentioned you don't work with him anymore." yeah me and hyung talked much more than you think. Just getting to know each other.

"Well sometimes I help my housemate because he works from home. He's an accountant and I wasn't exactly the clown of the class in school, so I can help him. Like when he's tired and wants to sleep but he still has work to do. Don't worry Yoonie, Jiminie has a mind in here! " he said and pointed at his head.

Well I see he doesn't use that mind all the time. I didn't mean to insult him by that, it's just... You know what I mean!

And also the way he said 'housemate' really gives me the hint that he's something more to him. Do I sound like that when I talk about Taehyung? I hope not,, I don't want to admit having feelings for a straight man.

"Have you had your first kiss yet?" what's with all these personal questionssss?!

"no. I want it to be special. To actually mean something"

"Interesting, interesting" he nodded and pulled out his phone. He typed something and then placed it on his lap.

"Hm does Tae hyung have a girlfriend?"

Jimin looked at me with a straight face then started laughing all of a sudden. I don't see what's so funny but okay.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH PFFF A GIRLFRIEND? Oh Jungkookie, poor bean. Well... Taehyung is...." he paused a bit to think "he didn't want to label himself. I hope you respect that, by the way! He'd been with both women and men so 'straight' isn't an option anymore. He's had plenty of short-term crushes and some flings back in college but never something serious. Trust me, I would know." that took some time to process.

So Taehyung is into both ways. And he doesn't have a girlfriend or boyfriend at the moment. He's never had something serious... I might actually have a- I m-mean what?

"Have you ever watched porn? Gay porn, to be exact" WHY IS HE SO CASUAL ABOUT THAT!?

"Why are you asking such personal questions??"

"Why aren't you answering?"

"But why would you ask about this stuff?"

"Well why wouldn't I?"

"This is not an answer!"

"You didn't answer either!"

"Oh by the angel" I said and laid back on the couch, running a hand through my hair.

"Okay okay that was too much, I admit. Sorry!" he really apologized, which took me by surprise. "You're quite fun, Jungkook" Jimin said and looked satisfied. "I guess you're gonna be a good match" he winked and stood up.

"Wait what do you-"

I was interrupted by the front door being opened. How did time pass so fast? Taehyung arrived home.

"Jimin I swear to God if you did something to Jungkook you will be 20cm shorter after I get my hands on you." was the first thing we heard and I started blushing.

"That won't be necessary TaeTae. I was just leaving." Jimin mockingly bowed when Taehyung entered the room glaring at him. "I know what I need to know for now" he winked and left.

After we heard the front door close Taehyung apologized to me for Jimin being a, and I quote, "anime-obsessed guy who should mind his own business". That kind of explains why Jimin tries to look emotionless sometimes. But I stopped Taehyung and told him that wasn't necessary.

And then he asked what did he tell me and why did he come here in the first place. My answer was simple.

"We're... We're friends" I said and looked up at him with my biggest and purest smile possible. I have a friend.

Taehyung's pov

Was I meant to die today because I definitely didn't expect such a surprise right when I got home. THAT SMILE! I literally wanted to take a picture of it and put it in a frame in my bedroom what even- Jimin won't die tonight. He actually deserves some chocolate donuts I swear to God.
