Ashido, putting her own feelings aside, agrees to help Midoryia get with his crush, the same girl she fell in love with. Ochako Uraraka.
Although heartbroken, Ashido goes out of her way to matchmake her bestfriend and the love of her life.

Students filled the halls of U.A. High mere seconds after hearing the bell, signalling it was lunch. Majority of the teenagers headed off to the cafeteria, the few that didn't, roamed their schools halls, usually settling for an empty classroom or even some of the cleaner bathrooms.
As you entered the cafeteria, you'd immediately notice the strict cliques that they had formed. It was almost too cliche, "The Nerds" and "The Geeks" all sat at one table in a far corner of the cafeteria, it being barely illuminated due to the lack of working lights.
Then there's "The Jocks" and "The Popular Kids", they never really sat at the same table, or even talked during lunch, but the always sat in the center of the cafeteria.
"The Goths" and "The Emos" were rarely found in the cafeteria, but when they were, it was close to te exit, since they always arrived late anyway.
The rest of the cliques didn't have certain spot they always sat at, mostly just there to be an element of the background.
Izuku Midoryia entered the cafeteria. Once he got his tray, he slowly started looking around, wanting to see if he could spot his friends, he was in his second year, but had already made extremely close friendships with some of his classmate. "Deku! There you are, I was looking all over for you!" A brunette girl popped out of, seemingly, nowhere. "Chako, sorry it took so long, I had to stay a little after class." He said, looking away and blushing due to how close he was to her. "Well come on, you can't keep the rest of us waiting!" She exclaimed, skipping back to their table.
You see, they also belonged in a clique, but not one you usually see in some old movie with odd and comedic stereotypes, they were often referred to as "The Gay Ones", non of the other students being creative enough to think of a better name. Izuku let himself get dragged by his friend back to their table, being too tired to even try and protest. Once he saw his other friends waiting for him, he waved and sat down with them. Most of them had been friends since the beginning of freshman year, others were made along the way, nonetheless, they were an inseparable friend group.
Deku placed his tray down as he sat beside one of his best friends, Shoto. Todoroki immediately greeted him with a hug. "What took you so long?" "Ms. Joke needed help with something after class." Midoryia yawned after answering. Shoto hummed in response. "Is that the cafeterias food?" Todoroki asked while pointing at what laid in front of Izuku. "Oh, yeah..." he mumbled before picking up his fork, jabbing at what seemed to be 'steak'. "I overslept and forgot to pick up my lunch"
Todoroki looked at his friend with sympathetic eyes, he reached into his bag, took out a box of Natto and gave it to him. "Here, I brought extra food." He said while handing him the box. "Thanks you so much! But... Why do you have an extra box of food?" the green haired boy questioned before taking the Natto and placing it in front of him, moving the schools 'food' along with it. "I brought it for Mina, she usually forgets to bring her lunch, but she didn't this time." Shoto answered while pointing towards the girl across the table.
