2: Firofinese Palace Affairs

   The army of the Firofinese now finally entered into their kingdom which was just two borders away from the valley of Terek- the battle field. The citizens of Firofine were amazed at the return of their duchess and army. Many seemed clueless of the result of the proposed battle while others thought they had defeated the Banzians.

   The duchess finally entered the palace to meet her sister Misheal, who rushed to welcome her, she was happy to see her return, relieved that  it didn't look like  there was a battle. She decided to confirm.
"You are welcome back Nadesh, how about you come over to sit, you've had a long day sister".
   Misheal ordered the maidens to attend to Nadesh while she came back to talk with her.
"You are back soon from battle?" She asked", Nadesh looks up at her.

"The prince of the Banzir doesn't seem to be interested in the battle, he did something odd at the valley, I think he's passing a message but I must not be moved".

"What's the message", Misheal asked?".
"He seems to be interested in friendship and peace rather than battles".

"So you think he hasn't seen something?" Misheal questioned. "Like what?".

   "You think he's not into you? I can just imagine you both become the king and queen of the new kingdom, Firobanzir, the whole world beaming in majesty of the two great countries of the continent".

"That ends in your wildest imaginations" Nadesh cuts in.

"We hope to see the result soon" Misheal smiled. Just then Robin, the chief protocol walked in to pass the Duchess a message from the council of the Firofinese ministry of defence and authority, "let them in" Nadesh instructed, Robin walked smart to deliver the message.
   Just few minutes further, Nadesh was encompassed about by the council of the Firofinese ministry of defence executives.
"Your grace, what is this you are doing, you claim to take over the territories of the Banzir to make Firofine the greatest nation of it's history, what takes this sudden turn around?" The Firofinese chief officer of defence questioned.

   "What if I'm no longer interested in taking over territories of the Banzir?" She asked.
"l bet you do not want to know the implication of what you have just done Duchess Nadesh, every proposed battle is passed into the Chronicles of the Firofinese  blood convenant law and must be accomplished. It is a convenant law of life and death and once passed into the Chronicles, has must be achieved, whether its a loss or a gain, there is no going back Duchess Nadesh, prevention would have been safer than a proposed battle".

   "Then battle shall there be, we will propose another battle for another time but not for the moment, the opposition kingdom doesn't sign for battle, but don't you assume there should be another way to accumulate territories asides through battles?" Nadesh asked, after all, the aim is expansion of territories" she adds.
   The council of executives reasoned at her suggestion
   "And what do you suggest Duchess Nadesh?".
   "Let's initiate a plan, a plan of which I do not know yet, perhaps friendship with the Banzians will enhance a trick to overpower and take over their kingdom". "That sounds reasonable Duchess, but let things proceed as you suggest and we shall see what fortune lies ahead", "and that means battles have been cancelled?" Nadesh asked.
    "Section 99 of the Chronicles Instructions states for war exception only if essence of battle stands. That, no generation has been able to achieve yet. Let's see what your era stands to achieve Duchess Nadesh".

  "Let's hope it works chiefs", " and this will be the end of our meeting with you Duchess". She watches them leave one after the other after paying her the magnifications salute, she bows in response.
