Chapter 14

Percy's POV

The doorknob turned. Great it's gonna be Chiron or something interrupting our game. Instead it was Leo and Calypso. I forgot I invited them. I'm just use to Leo being you know, dead.

"Oh hey guys!" Jason smiled. "I forgot everyone we invited these two." Okay good I'm not the only one who forgot.

"Take a seat they were just about to explain." Annabeth said. She was pretty mad at me for not telling her but I couldn't let it slip. So I put my arm around her. And Jason did that to Piper, and Leo to Calypso, and Will to Nico. I think they're a couple but I'm still not sure. Nico blushed but he leaned into Will.

"Well we are going to have a scavenger hunt in the real world." I said. Everyone stared at me like I had ten heads.

"Are you crazy?" Piper said.

"What do you mean? It's fine. Tomorrows free day which means no classes no sign ins. Tonight we leave and get a hotel or something and tomorrow begin the hunt. We can have teams and such." I explained.

"What about monsters? We are known to attract them. Especially with you Jason and Nico." Will said. He seemed very concerned the way he said that.

"It's only one day." Jason added.

"Well I'm in, I could get out of here." Piper said.

"I'm in" Nico said. Will shot him a look but Nico looked back harder.

"Me too," Will mumbled.

"Is it a good idea? I mean Calypso's new and all-" Leo started.

"I'm fine! How else to explore the world than to leave it." She said with a smile.

"Okay then we're in." Leo said.

"That leaves you." I said gently to Annabeth.

"I just, I don't know what's gonna happen." She said.

"You could have lots of fun." I said grabbing her hand. She finally agreed. "Alright everyone. Go get a bag packed, but not too big we don't wanna be noticed. Be back in 15."
