When Nina and Inej get you to the Van Eck/ Fahey mansion, Wylan leads you to an upstairs room that contains a large bed and several tables stacked with bandages and medicine bottles. You sit on the bed and Wylan starts prodding your leg and wrist to see how bad the damage is.
"You've broken your left leg and sprained your wrist," he concludes.
"Soooo smart," mouths Jesper from his seat in the corner and you manage a smile despite the pain.
Wylan crosses to a cabinet and starts bandaging your injured limbs so you can just about move without them hurting. Inej and Nina squeeze you unbandaged hand when he sets your leg. You've never experienced so much pain.
"Sooooo brutal," mouths Jesper, you find yourself agreeing. Wylan is incredibly nice but wow, he doesn't mess around in the hospital ward.
"You should stay here until you heal fully," suggests Wylan.
