Chapter 19:My fate

Danielle's POV

He took everyone away and we were alone. I'm sure Diana and Yasameen left to find a way to get to them. It was only me and him.

He had a guard behind me and one guard by each door armed. I had to pray he wasn't gonna kill me.

"Finally we're alone at last...you know something you have your mothers eyes.

"Shut up you didn't know my mother." He didn't answer he just grinned. Which made me more angry. He didn't know.he didn't know her.he didn't know her...

"It was terrible what happened to her, but that bitch deserved it. She was going to ruin what I built" he said interrupting my thoughts. I can't take this anymore

"SHUT UP!" I screamed as I tried to run towards him but the guard behind me was faster and hit the back of my legs making me fall to the ground.

"Stupid girl you don't know anything. I must admit I do miss her she was at the top over here she came so far. But then she got attached to Jake and well then killed herself because it was to much for her."

"Your lying he didn't know my mother he was..." before I could finish he cut me off.

"Yes I know he was in prison his whole life but your mother worked here as a scientist they were very close."

"YOUR LYING" I start to cry I don't know what to do.I just want to go home...but the sad part is I don't have one...not anymore.

"my dear girl why would I lie. I can show you her room he wanted to keep everything that was her's."

"but I thought that..." before I could finish he interrupted me. I don't know what I think anymore

"You thought what? That he loves you? Oh my dear girl you are so naive."

"SHUT UP YOU DON'T KNOW ME" I screamed through tears. I can't deal with this anymore...did he really lie to me this whole time?

He chuckles "You really think you could have gotten here on your own. I knew you were coming...I let you in."

"That's not possible"

He shrugs "I guess you really can't trust anyone these days huh?"

He nods his head to the guard and the guard lifts me up with the gun still to my head.

"I would love to kill you myself but I have other plans. Have fun" he smiled and told the guard to take me away. He lead my through the corridor that my brother and father went through.

It's a small corridor with stairs that lead up. We go up the flight of stars and into a hallway. There is only one door at the end of the hallway.

The guard pushes me into a dark room awaiting my fate...
