My legs are crossed as I sit on the bed, watching Sam and Colby pack for their exploring trip. Kat is laying down next to me and typing away on her phone.
"When do you think you all will be back?" I ask.
"Later tonight. I'll text you when we're on our way back," Colby answers.
"Okay," I nod. He smiles at me softly before coming over and sitting beside me. He swings his arm around my shoulders and I rest my head on his shoulder.
"Have you had fun?" He asks.
"It took a while but after the first couple of days yes," I answer. He kisses my head before standing up. He's wearing a black beanie and a black and white Justin Beiber shirt. "Is that the best shirt to wear exploring?" I tease.
"Nothing wrong with a little Beibs," he teases back. Smiling, I shake my head and roll my eyes. "Alright, I think we're ready."
Kat and I stand and walk over to them. Colby wraps his arms around my waist and kisses my head.
"Please be careful," I whisper. He chuckles and gives me a squeeze.
"We will. What's the worst that could happen?"
"A lot," I answer, looking up at him. He smiles and kisses me quickly.
"I love you, Elle," he whispers.
"I love you too. Be safe."
"We will," he smiles before letting me go. He swings the backpack onto his shoulder before him and Sam leave.
Colby
"What's up guys? It's Sam and Colby," I greet aggressively into the camera.
"Today is the last day of our Florida trip and we decided to go explore a school that's under construction. It's next to a pretty busy street so let's hope no one sees us," Sam begins. As he's talking, I pull my phone out and text Elle quickly.
Colby You okay?
Elle Yeah. We went back down to the beach. Love you.
Colby Love you too, hun.
Sam finishes the intro as I put my phone away. He shuts off the camera and we begin walking towards the school. We try to keep a low profile as we search for a way in. There's a hole in the fence at the corner. We wait a few minutes before slipping in and running behind some bushes.
"Okay, so we just got inside the gate," Sam explains. "Now we need to get in the building."
"That shouldn't be too bad," I whisper. "I don't think any of the workers are here. It's kinda late."
We wait a few seconds before booking it inside the building. When we get inside, we walk around and talk softly to the camera for a while. Soon, we hear sirens outside.
"Shit," Sam curses. We kneel down.
"They could just be passing," I explain. The sirens don't fade away.
"Come out with your hands up," an officer yells through a microphone. My heart stops. Every single time we've been able to avoid cops but there's no getting out of this.
"We have to Sam, we have no where else to go," I whisper.
"Fuck," he huffs.
"You all come out or we'll come in." Sighing, Sam and I stand and walk out with our hands up.

We get out of the water and I lay back down on the towel. Checking my phone, I see no messages from Colby.
"Hey, has Colby texted you all?" I ask.
"No. he hasn't responded," Corey answers. Worry begins to set in. Kat rests her hand on my shoulder.
"They'll be okay," she assures.
"You're right," I sigh. "I just worry."
"And it's good that you do."
"Well, what's the plan?" I ask, changing the subject.
"We can go back to the hotel, order some pizza, and watch a something on TV," Jake suggests. We all agree and begin walking back to the hotel. As we're walking, my mind wonders back to Colby. Quickly, I text him before putting my phone away. We reach the hotel and Kat and I go to our rooms.
"You okay?" She asks as we walk down the hallway.
"Yeah, he's just not responding," I answer, biting the inside of my cheek.
"I'm sure he will," she tries to comfort me.
"I just don't want anything to happen to him, you know?"
"Of course," she nods. "This is how I always get with Sam. You know what though, they always end up fine. They'll come back."
"Okay," I breathe. We reach out room and go inside. Kat goes to the bathroom to change while I start changing out here. Once we finish, we go down to Corey's room where they already have everything set up for the night.
"Now all we need it to wait for the pizza," Jake explains as we set our stuff down.
"Well, what are we going to watch?" Kat asks.
"Uh, I think Friends is on or Law and Order SVU."
"Oh, Law and Order," Devyn awes. My phone chimes repeatedly in my pocket. Unlocking it, I see people are tagging me in a post. Clicking, I see Sam and Colby's mugshots. My heart stops.
"Oh my god," I whisper, getting Kat's attention. I sit down on the stool at the end of the bed.
"What's wrong?" She asks.
"They got arrested," I breathe, checking the comments.
"What?" Corey questions, getting on his phone. Everyone does the same. Setting my phone down, I stand and run my hands through my hair. My heart is pounding in my ears and my stomach is twisting.
"I need to go down to the station," I mumble, grabbing my phone. Kat grabs my hand.
