I walked into school the next Monday. Everyone was looking at me. My heart was beating faster. Whispers from everyone calling me the crazy, suicidal girl. I tried to look for Alex but he wasn't there today. My only friend wasn't there.
I started to panic. The walls felt like they were closing in. I couldn't do the plan without him! I jerked when the bell ran for first period. People came closer to me. My heart was beating at one hundred miles per minute. And then the bell rang.....wait didn't it just ring? It kept on ringing and ringing...
I woke up in the comfort of my bed with my heart still beating fast. I decided to call Alex.
"Mmhh....hello?" He answered.
"Alex! I had a bad dream!"
"Just calm down..I'm sure it was nothing."
"It was about going to school tomorrow and you weren't there."
"V, the plan is happening tomorrow of course I'll be there. Look, just get some sleep and don't worry about it. You- we are going to do fine. Trust me."
"Okay," I breathed.
"Good, now go to bed, big day tomorrow. I trust you."
"I trust you,too." I also like you, I thought.
I hung up the phone and went to sleep, feeling better now that I have Alex with me.
