"The heck was that for!" Tony yanks his chicken and broccoli back to him as Emily laughs in victory from snatching yet another piece of his food. "You have your own!"

"Eh. It's funnier to see your reaction."

"Is funnier even a word?"

"It is."

"Is not."

"Is too."- Rosie groans and slaps both of her friends upside the head.

"It's not a word and you guys need to be heading to bed." Xavier pulls his phone from his pocket. The blue hue lights up his face for a second before its gone.

"Yeah actually, its 11:24 its quite late." This makes Tony mumble a few colorful words and another slap from Rosie.

Both boys pick up their trash and head to the door, leaving Emily and Rosie behind. A soft click is heard when they exit her dorm and Emily goes to lock it then enters again.

"Mind if I stay the night?" Emily twirls a lock of her hair between her fingers and Rosie smiles, patting the other side of her bed.

Emily grins and runs to the right side, throwing herself onto the bed which makes her dear friend let out an "Ompf" when the bed dips. The girls move their garbage to the nightstand and turn the lights out, letting reruns of Spongebob play in the background.

"I swear on my mothers grave if you don't wake up sister, I'm going to spit on you!" Rosie awakes in a jolt, her eyes blurry from the harsh light of her room. She blinks a few times until her gaze rest upon Tony and Emily who is throwing on her shoes.

"Please don't spit on me," She mumbles into her pillow.

"Girl, I will do it!"

"Okay! I'm up!" Tony smiles in satisfaction as he watches his friend roll off the bed onto the floor with a soft thud.

Emily and Tony leave the room, letting Rosie have time to shower and change. She's cautious of the purple bruise that lines her stomach when washing away the blood and grim off her body. A few minutes later and fully dressed in a cardigan and leggings, she exits her room the same time Lucy does.

"Hey you okay from yesterday?" Lucy's gaze snaps to hers.

"Oh, uh yeah I'm fine. Just exhausted apparently." She gives a lopsided smile before walking down the corridor to the cafeteria. Rosie follows.

The buzzing of plates and utensils fill the hall even before they reach the opening of the cafeteria. The smell of maple syrup reaches Rosie's nostrils and she smiles. Waffles are her favorite. When they make the turn inside, laughter booms, shaking the floor the girls stand on. Lucy motions for her to follow, leading the way to the bar.

Rosie spots Tony and Emily at their assigned table due to their team, (Rosie learned this earlier from Lucy) but it seems Xavier is not there. Curiosity fills her face which Lucy picks up on.

"Wondering why mister grumpy isn't here yet?" Rosie nods, signalling for Lucy to continue.

"Xavier never shows up for breakfast." This pips Rosie's interest.

"Why not?"

Lucy shrugs and grabs a stack of waffles from the line, "I don't know. Ask his genius brain."

"Genius brain?"

"Yeah. He's like another Sherlock Holmes but is better at hiding it. His IQ is almost 180." Rosie gasp. Her plate of waffles almost dropping to the floor in her shock.
