Secret Five

2) Headquarters

    Lucy slams her car door closed, locking it after everyone exits. Xavier throws Tony's arm over his shoulder, helping him walk since his balance was still wonky.  Agent X takes the lead. The three girls follow close behind.

    The five of them walk down a narrow hall. The lights glow an orange-yellow hue that reflects off of the walls as they pass. The hall opens up to a huge foyer that has people running to and from. A lady sits behind a desk in the center, taking calls and nods in hello to Lucy as we pass. Her face scrunches up in confusion when the newcomers come into her sight. In other words, Rosie, Emily, and a half conscious Tony. She places the phone back on the hook, then addresses Xavier.

"Agent X?" He looks in her direction. The woman who looks no older than 30 twirls a loose hair around her finger as she continues. "Who might they be?"

"New recruits. Now bud out Sarah." Lucy snarls. The lady flinches. Her gaze lingers on X before she carries on with her work.

"Great. He's a womanizer." Rosie mutters under her breath, loud enough for Emily to pick up and giggle. Lucy turns around and raises her eyebrow. The girls sober up immediately and trail on after them.

    Xavier leads them down yet another hall, taking a sharp left when it ends. Rosie glances to the right, seeing only a door. When they finally make it to yet another opening, they go down a small flight of stairs. X sets Tony against the wall so he can stabilize himself. Xavier knocks on the door and a faint "Come in" is followed. Xavier pushes the giant red door open, letting them enter first.

    Lucy walks in first with Emily following close behind. Tony pushes himself off the wall and trails Emily, leaving Rosie to walk in last. Xavier lets go of the door as it starts to shut on Rosie. She frowns as X smirks.

"Open the door for her Agent." An older voice hollers out to them. Xavier's smirk is quickly replaces with a scowl, doing as Boss said.

    The office is quite small with the five of them. Don't forget the incredibly buff body guard who stands to Bosses left. Boss sits at an old wooden desk with papers spewed all across the top. His feet propped up on the edge and his hands rest comfortably on his chest. His graying hair looked more frazzled from the last time Ro has seen him.

"Looks like you kiddos are getting along." Bosses voice cracks out into the silence. Xavier snorts.

"We kind of are." Emily replies. Boss raises and eyebrow. His gaze flickering to Xavier's stance. He is leaning against the wall right by the door where his left foot is also placed, keeping him propped up. His arms are crossed over his chest as her looks anywhere but Boss.

"Yeah, getting along." Lucy muses. Boss kicks his feet off of his desk and sits straight in his chair. He motions for everyone to sit. Xavier doesn't.

"So you might be wondering why you five are here," His eyes quickly gaze over the five of them before he continues. "We have a security breach problem."

"A breach?" Emily pipes up. "From L.A.A again?" Boss shakes his head.

"Locklin Assassination Association? No way! Those fools fear us now!" He chuckles for a second until his face falls, getting serious again.

"We actually don't know what association these criminals are from. It's like they are off the radar. Went missing and have not been on record for years." Tony's face scrunches in confusion.

"But we have everyone on file sir-" Tony was cut off by a knocking at the door.

"Come in!" Boss announces. The door swings open, almost hitting Xavier in the process. The lady from before, now known as Sarah enters the room with papers, passing them to Boss and makes her leave.
