Healing pod

It was a rather quiet morning for the team. Hunk and Lance we're making Breakfast. Well more like hunk would make something and Lance would be his taste tester. Allura was sitting With Coran and the mice talking about how cute the other creatures were back on Altea. Pidge was talking with Shiro about Matt, Sam, Adam, and just other close people to them.

"Hey um guys? Have you seen Keith?" Lance says while hoping off the counter.

"No I haven't." Pidge says a plainly.

"I'm sure he's on the training deck...again pulling an all nighter." Shiro says placing his robotic arm on his forehead. "Do me a favor Lance and go get him."

"Why me?!" Lance whines.

"Because I said so that's why now go..." Shiro says in his dad voice.

"Yep. No problem going to get him now!!!" Lance says quickly while running out of the kitchen.

Jeez he can be so scary at times...maybe it's The robot arm? Lance though to himself as he walked rather quickly to the training deck. So Shiro wouldn't get mad at him. But when he came across the trading deck there were no noises coming from it. Silence.

He probably went to his room....nahhhh he's still in here, knowing him.. Lance thought as he opens the doors to the training deck.

"Keith! Buddy! You in here?" Lance heard nothing. "Keith ya there-"

"Really Keith....ughh..." Lance says as he sees Keith leaned up against the right wall where all the weapons were. Lance walks over to him and bends down. Seeing that in Keith's hand he has his Bayard.

"I'll just take that from you..." Lance says as he grabs Keith's Bayard. But Keith groans and turns to his side cradling his Bayard.

"Really Keith?! C'mon man...."

"Mmm.....mmm?"

"Oh! Jeez!! Umm...sorry mullet, didn't mean to wake you but it's time for breakfast.

"Huh? GAHH!!!" Keith screams as he pushes Lance away and backs up out of reflex.

"Oww!! What the heck MULLET?!"

"Oh Lance!! Sorry... it's a reflex." Keith says worriedly.

"Your good man. Now c'mon let's head-" but Lance was cut off by alarms. The castle alarms.

"Woah what's happening?!!!!" Lance yells in shock.

" I think it's Zarkon attacking!! We need to get to our lions!" Keith yells while standing up and running to his hanger. Lance right behind.

They now were all now outside, with the castles barrier up. It was a large fleet that was attacking.

"Shiro what do we do?!" Hunk yells into the coms.

" alright team! We might not need to form Voltron." Shiro says in response. "So! Keith and Pidge take care of the flightier pilots, Lance and Hunk take down those ion cannons! I'll help you guys! GO!"

And with that the team spread doing as they were told. Lance would freeze the Ion cannons and Hunk would knock them over. Keith had out his jaw blade; demolishing the ships in an instant, Pidge was using her vine power and taking the ships down that way. Shiro was also using his jaw blade but on the ships with ion cannons helping the two boys. The castle was also helping taking down ships and putting them into pieces.

"Nice work team! We've got this!" Shiro yells into the coms.

But then out of nowhere a mother ship came out.

"Uhh Shiro?! Is that a mother ship?!" Keith says into coms. Slightly shocked.

At this point there were no more flightier ships and only two ships left with ion cannons.

"Alright team! We need to attack at once! Allura I. Red backup!" Shiro says flying towards the mother ship.

"On it Shiro!" Allura replies hitting the mother ship.

The team attacked. Hitting the ship from all different angles. It looked like they were gonna win this fight. But what they forgot about was that there was to ion cannons right behind them....

Lance looked out his window to see the red lion and an ion cannon shooting right at him...and he only had one reflex.

"KEITH!!!" Lance yells into the coms pushing the red lion out of shot. Him moving with the red lion. So the shot only grazed his lion and didn't explode.

"UGGHGAAAAHHHHH!!!" Lance screams into the coms....

"LANCE?!!!" Everyone shouts together.

"ALLURA OPEN A WORMHOLE NOW!!" Shiro yells.

"On it!!!" She yells back and just like that. Shiro push's the blue lion with the help of Keith into the worm hole along with everyone else behind.

Where they land was a rock planet. Almost like the one Keith and Shiro landed on not to long ago. Keith Immediately ran out of his lion and went inside of blue. When he found lance.... Keith was never more terrified... Lances helmet was cracked, he was slouched over in his chair, his ankle looked twisted out of place, his head had a small cut near his hairline, and it was bleeding badly....

"L-Lance...." Keith said in a deep shallow voice. The one he loved and cared for was right there injured and he had no idea what to do. So he just let his Subtle tears fall down his check. But then Shiro and everyone else came in.

"I-is he ok?...." hunk asks softly.

"N-no... we need to get him in a healing pod..." Keith says facing his back towards the team so no one could see his face. But just the wat his voice sounded.... you could tell he was in slight pain.

It had been 2 days since Lance was in the pod. He was scheduled to be coming out today. So everyone gathered around his pod waiting for him to exit.

Everyone was pretty silent, everyone was a a good distance from the pod so that when Lance fell out he would have enough room to stand. All except...Keith. He had been worried sick all this time. Science the second lance was put into the pod he Was scared. He was pacing back and forth, honestly making the team become slightly dizzy.

"Keith...I know your worried we all are. just please stop pacing." Shiro says putting a comforting hand on Keith's shoulder.

"...I know I-I...I'm just scared...." Keith says looking down. But before he could say anything else he heard the pod make an opening noise and he turns around to be met with a sleepy looking Lance in his arms.

"L-Lance?!" Keith says wide eyed.

"Huh?! Wha-what happened....did I save you?" Lance says standing up slowly.

" yes, you did...and I NEVER. Want you to do it again understand?!" Keith says pulling Lance into a tight hug.

"Uh! Umm yeah t-totally.

Omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg!!!!! Is he hugging me?! Why dose This feel so nice?!! Ahhhh!!! Why dose it feel so, right....

We're the last things he thought till Keith looks up and him and presses their lips together. At first Lance was shocked but quickly melted into the kiss. Wrapping his arms around Keith's waist.

"WHERES MY MONEY PIDGE!!" Was all the tow could hear Shiro day as they were kissing one another.
