Finding Love In Royalty

Chapter 10

This morning I woke up and realized that I actually got up early for once. I buzzed Shyanne and had her bring my breakfast upstairs to me. She brings me up a muffin and some juice which she knows is all I ever really want for breakfast. She sets the tray over my lap and then takes a seat next to me on my bed. "Good morning Katy. How are you this morning?" Shy asks me.

"I'm ok. What is on the agenda for today?" I ask her.

"Well you are going for a stroll in the gardens with Zayn this morning then you are having tea with Liam, followed by riding horses with Louis. Then you have a break so I will have your lunch waiting for you in here and I will eat with you. Then you are going to the royal kitchen with Harry, he knows how to bake so you will be baking with him. After that you will be having dinner with Niall." Shyanne says.

"So this will be a very interesting day." I say smiling at Shyanne as I bite into my muffin.

"Oh yes it will be. Hey do you want me to pick out your outfit?" She asks.

*"Yes please! I love it when you pick out my clothes!" I say excitedly smiling at her. She smiles at me and walks over to my closet. I see her walk into my closet and she stays in there for a few minutes before walking back out with a dress in her hand. I look at the dress and realize that it is one of my sundressess. It is a knee length dress with a sweetheart neck line. It is blue with small white hearts and it is actually one of my favorite dresses. She reaches off to the side and grabs on of my longer cardigans. It is a light gray knit one that reaches my knee, and she grabs a pair of my brown ankle boots.

"What do you think?" She asks.

"I love it!" I say smiling. I finish my breakfast and then shower and change. Once I am in my outfit for the morning Shyanne sits my down at my makeup desk and she pulls my hair into a braid over my left shoulder. "Thank you so much!" I say standing up and hugging her.

"No problem, now you might want to head down to the garden." She says smiling at me. I nod my head and walk out of the room and head to the garden to see Zayn sitting at a table on the patio.

"Good morning Zayn." I say smiling at him as I join him on the patio.

"Good morning Katy. You ready to go?" He asks. I nod my head and we begin walking around the gardens. We walk in silence for a while before Zayn speaks up.

"Katy I have to tell you something." Zayn says stopping in the middle of the path.

"Ok Zayn. What is it?" I ask.

"I can not marry you." He says.

"And why is that?" I ask shocked.

"I am in love with someone else." He says looking down at his hands.

"I am really glad that you told me." I say smiling at him.

"What do you mean?" He asks looking up at me shocked.

"Prince Liam is also in love with someone else, by you two telling me this it helps to make my decision a little easier." I say smiling at him.

"You took that a lot better than I thought you would." He says.

"How did you think I was going to react?" I ask him.

"I thought you were either going to be very angry or very upset." He says.

"Oh heavens no! I am not close enough to any of you yet to react that badly." I say smiling. "Now would you like to finish our stroll my friend." I say still smiling at him.

"Of course." He says smiling back. Well that is two less boys to choose from.
