Finding Love In Royalty

Chapter 8

I change into a light blue v-neck high-low maxi dress with a black blazer and my tan wedges. I curl my hair and Shyanne passes me my purse and I head down to the main parlor to see Prince Liam standing there in a tux.

"Hello your highness." He says once I get into the room and he bows to me.

"Hello Prince Liam." I say and curtsy to him.

"Are you ready to go princess Kathryn?" He asks holding him arm out to me.

"Of course. Are you ready?" I ask him, as I link my arm through his.

"Of course. Let us go." He says and Shy opens the door to the castle to reveal the limo driver waiting for us.

"Good evening Princess Kathryn, Prince Liam." He says as he bows to us.

"Good evening James." I say as I climb into the back of the limo. Liam climbs in behind me and we begin our journey to the restaraunt that Niall and I were at earlier today. We are quickly seated and the waiter comes over to take our orders.

"I'll have the fettuchini Alfredo, with a glass of water." I say smiling at the waiter.

"I'll have the same." Liam says. We pass our menus to the waiter.

"Ok, I'll be back in a few minutes with your order." She says before turning around to head back to the kitchen.

"So what have you done today Prince Liam?" I ask him.

"I spent a little while this morning riding, but I have spent most of the day just roaming around the castle trying to get a feel for it." He says.

"That is always good. This castle can get really confusing at times." I say smiling gently at him.

"By the way, you do not have to call me prince Liam. You can just call me Liam." He says smiling at me.

"Well thank you Liam, do not forget that you can call me Katy." I say smiling at him. The waiter comes back to our table at that moment and gives us our food. "Thank you very much." I say smiling at our waiter. He bows before walking back towards the kitchen. Liam and I begin eatting. We keep a light conversation going the entire time we are eatting. Once we are done with our dinner we head back out to the limo. Liam opens the door for me to get into the limo. I take my seat and Liam takes a seat across from me. Once we get back into the palace I say good night to Liam before walking upto my room and heading into my closet and changing into a pair of leggins, a tank top, some fuzzy socks, and one of my long cardigans. I walk into my parlor and take a seat on the couch and push the button to call for Shyanne.

"What can I do for you Princess Kathryn?" I hear Shy's voice call through the speaker.

"Can you bring up a mug of hot chocolate and come tidy up my room?" I ask. Shy and I have a secret code, if I am asking her to tidy up my room it means I really need to talk to her.

"Right away Princess." I hear her say. I turn on the tv and start looking through our movie collection. After a few minutes there is a knock at my door. I walk over and open my door to see Shy standing there with a mug of hot chocolate in her hands.

"Thank you so much." I say taking the warm drink from her.

"No problem princess." She says as she walks into my room. "What happened at dinner?" She asks.

"Nothing bad. Liam was really sweet." I say as I sit down on the couch and just stare at my cocoa.

"Then what is the problem?" She asks.

"They are making this decision way too hard!" I say looking up at her.

"I'm so sorry Katy. I wish there was something I could do to help." She says.

"I just do not know what to do!" I basically yell.

"Calm down Katy lets watch a movie, and just relax." Shy says.
