Chapter 15

Harry and I finished baking the cookies and Shyanne walked into the kitchen. "Princess Kathryn, Prince Niall is waiting on the terrace for your company for dinner." She says with a curtsy.

"Thank you. I will be along in a moment." I say, she nods and curtsys again before walking out of the kitchen.

"Why are you two so formal with eachother?" Harry asks as we walk to the door.

"We do not want anyone getting suspicious of us." I explain as we get into the hallway where Shyanne is waiting.

"I see." He says.

"Shyanne, they know. Prince Liam told all of them." I say and she looks shocked.

"Do not worry. None of us plan on telling anyone." He says to Shyanne.

"I feel a little bit better. Katy you really have to go." She says.

"Ok, I will see you later Harry." I say before walking off with Shyanne.

"I am so sorry Shy, I did not think that Liam would tell everyone." I say looking at my hands as we head towards the back of the castle.

"It is perfectly alright Katy. Do not worry about that. What is done is done. You can not change it now." She says and I nod my head as we get to the terrace.

"Thank you mam. Is there anything you would like to me do during your supper?" She asks as we reach the terrace.

"No, go enjoy your own supper." I say.

"Thank you mam." She says and with a curtsy and a smile she dissappears back into the castle.

"Guards you may spread out a little more. I will be fine." I say smiling at them.

"Yes your highness." One says and they all move to just out of earshot.

"You know that me and the rest of the princes know about your friend right?" He asks.

"Harry told me." I say while nodding.

"Oh here." He says jumping up out of his seat and pulling my chair out for me.

"Thank you." I say as I sit down and he helps me move my chair in.

"You are welcome. I hope you enjoy dinner. I remember you said this was one of your favorites." He says and lifts the lid off the plates.

"Did you request this?" I ask him.

"Possibly." He says with a shy smile.

"Thank you very much." I say smiling at him.

"You are very welcome." He says smiling back at me.

"So have you been having a good day?" He asks.

"I really have. Shyanne and I had a nice lunch today." I say smiling.

"I am glad. What did you two have for lunch?" He asks.

"I had a grilled cheese and tomato soup." I say. "It was a nice light lunch and I really enjoyed it." I say smiling.

"That is nice." He says.

"So what did you do today?" I ask him.

"I toured the castle a little bit more. I have not really had a chance to look around since I got here." He says looking down at his plate.

"I love this palace, do not get me wrong but sometimes I really wish it were a bit smaller. I hate getting lost in my own home." I say smiling shyly. "I have done that one too many times." I say. He laughs and we continue light conversation while we finish our meal.
