Finding Love In Royalty

Chapter 20

I woke up this morning to breakfast in bed. My parents decided to keep me in my room all day to get ready for the ball. None of the boys are allowed near my room until after the ball has finished and even then they aren't allowed to cross the threshold into my actual room. I ate my breakfast in the parlor with Dani, El and Perrie. My parents know that I have had some royal friends staying with us, but they don't know exactly who they are. After breakfast was finished I looked at the grandfather clock on my wall and saw that it is about 11am. My parents decided to let us sleep later this morning because we will be up late tonight due to the ball. "Ok girls, lets get showered and get our nails done." I say smiling at them before walking into my bathroom. Eleanor comes in and sits on my bed waiting to shower once I have finished. I quickly shower and shave before letting Eleanor shower in my bathroom. I walk into my parlor to see Dani sitting on the couch in a bathrobe. We all decided that we would stay in our robes till we have to get in our dresses. "Dani! Come with me I need help bringing out the nail polishes for us." I say smiling at her. She nods her head standing up and following me into my closet.

"It still shocks me every morning when I wake up that I am just another day closer to being called Princess by someone other than Liam." She says smiling as I pass her two shoes boxes that hold nail polishes.

"I just can't wait to see how your fathers look when you guys show up tonight." I tell her smiling as I grab the last two boxes as Elenor comes out of the bathroom. "Alright lets go do our nails." The three of us walk into the parlor and see Perrie sitting there.

"I was wondering where you girls were." She says laughing.

"We went to get the nail polishes." I say laughing.

"Well I can see that now." She says smiling. We each look into the boxes and pull out a nail polish color that is close to the color of our dress.

"Are you nervous about tonight?" I ask the girls. They all nod their heads.

"Not only are we being united with our families, we are also being given the chance to be with the men that we have fallen in love with. And it is all thanks to you Katy!" Perrie says smiling at me.

"Well you girls, I know you haven't been here for very long you have become my best friends along with Shyanne. Shyanne had been the only friend I had ever had until I met you girls and the boys. Thank you." We all have a group hug and sit there for a while just laughing and talking as we paint our nails. After our nails dry I hit the button on the wall and Shyanne calls the phone in my parlor. "Hey Shy can you send the two stylists into my room?" I ask her.

"Yup! Sending them up now. And it's not two it's four." She says laughing before hanging up.

"So apparently the number of stylists doubled. I guess it is because my father found out you girls are here." I say just as there is a knock on my door. I open it to reveal the four stylists.

"Ok girls just take a seat on any of the four solid chairs that are being moved in here." The head stylist Lou says.

"Thank you once again Lou for coming in and helping me." I say smiling at her.

"It's perfectly fine Katy! I am your royal stylist anyway. Oh and girls these are your royal stylists, Anna, Tammy, and Julia." Lou says.

"Hi!" The girls chorus as they each sit down on a chair.

"Anna you are working on Dani. Tammy you are working on Eleanor. Julia you are working on Perrie." Lou says as she sets her stuff down on one of the vanities that they brought into the room. "Alright lets get to work!" Lou says as she starts doing my hair.

*An hour and a half later*

All of us had our hair and make up finished and our stylists were putting on the finishing touches our jewelry. Lou gave me my diamond earrings and matching necklace, and she gently placed my tiara on my head and wrapped some of my hair over the end to make sure it would stay in place. My hair has been curled and pulled over my left shoulder. "Thank you so much everyone!" I say hugging all of the stylists. All of us look so beautiful and princess like. "Alright girls dress time!" I say running into the girls closet and grabbing Dani's dress and shoes and running into my room. "Dani your helping me change!" I yell as I place her dress on my bed and walk into my closet. I come back to see Dani sitting on the bench at the foot of my bed. "Shoes first!" I say sitting next to her and strapping on my heels, as Dani straps on her sky blue heels. "Dress time!" I say getting really excited. I pull Dani's dress out of her bag and help her climb into it and zip it up. All of us girls are wear floor length A-line dresses. Dani's dress is a sky blue, one shoulder dress with a sweatheart neck line and a floral design embroidered from the right hip across the chest to the left shoulder and this design also makes up the spaghetti strap of the dress. Eleanor's dress is a purple strapless, sweatheart dress with a sash wrapped from under the bust to the top of the hips. The dress also has lots of sparkles across the bust and they thin out as you get closer to the bottom of the dress. Perrie's dress is a light pink strapless, sweatheart dress with sparkles only in the bust and pick ups in the skirt. My dress is a watermelon pink strapless dress with a sweatheart neckline and diagonal lines of sparkles across the top of the dress. I zip up Dani's dress and then Dani helps me into my dress. We walk into the parlor to see the other girls standing there in their dresses. There is a knock on the door and I open it up to see Shyanne standing there.

"Ok Princess it is time for your enterance." She says.

"Alright thank you I will be leaving in a moment." I say smiling at her. I know that she only called me princess because there was someone nearby who would have gotten us in trouble. She nods her head and I close the door and turn to look at my wonderful cousins. "Alright girls, you know the plan right. You follow me down and you got to the door that is near the stage. I am going to enter and I have to go stright to the stage. I will announce you girls first so that way you are in there to hear the husband announcement." They all nod and give hugs before we all walk out of the room. I open the door and see Shyanne still standing there. "Have the boys already gone down?" I ask her.

"Yes they have princess. Where am I escourting the other princess' too?" She asks as we begin walking down the hall.

"The door at the stage. I will personally be announcing their arrival." I tell her. She nods her head and stages me at the top of the stairs to the ballroom after we put the girls at the correct door. I hear the horns on the other side of the door and I get my double door enterance. I walk over to the railing and wave at everyone as they applaud and I carefully walk down the stairs. Once I get to the bottom I make my way to the stage and grab the mircophone. "Thank you all so much for being here to help me celebrate my 18th birthday and before we kick off the celebration I have two announcements to make." I say and take a deep breath before winking at Shyanne who is standing at the door the girls will be entering from. Here goes nothing.
