Isabel Cosentino.
One week later.

"Um mom, could I maybe talk to you?" I ask as my mom walks into the living room.

I was currently at my moms house while the children were at school and day care. Kairi got the roll he auditioned for and quit his job as a doctor so he could put more time into acting.

"Sure sweetie, what is it?" Mom scrunches her eyebrows together and sits on the sofa.

"Well, um. . . As you've uh noticed I've been going somewhere for quite a while now." I slowly begin to say.

"Well yes, you've been giving me your kids to look after for days and hours I'm starting to think you don't want them anymore." She chuckles and takes a sip from her hot coffee.

I lightly smile and nod. "Um well I've been visiting to hospital for treatment because I have stage one lung cancer."

My mother's jaw hung low. Her face drained all it's color. It was kinda scary. She put her coffee mug down and rested her elbows on her knees. It took about a minute before she finally spoke up.

"How long?"

"How long what?"

"How long have you had cancer Isabel?"

"A couple weeks now. . ."

"And your only telling me this now! For gods sake Isabel! Does your father know? Does Kairi know? Do the kids know? Does Delilah know? In fact who else knows?"

"No one mom. Your the first person I've told."

"Why did it take you so long to tell me?" My mom starts lowering her voice now and is no longer shouting.

"Because I was scared alright mom. I didn't know how you'd react."

"Your having treatment for this Correct?"

I nod and sigh. "Yes. Hopefully the cancer doesn't spread or anything."

"What if it does?" "Than it could become worse and I could have a stronger chance of dying."

My mom nods and moves to sit next to me. She wraps an arm around me shoulder and brings me in for a hug.

"Thanks mom."

"No problem sweetie. Have you told your dad?"

"No. And I want you to do it."

I was silent. My mom didn't speak.

"O-Ok."

Evening.
Isabel Cosentino.

I was in the kitchen cleaning down the counter. Corey was in the dining room finishing off his homework and Connie was with Kairi in the living room playing with her toys together.

As I was about to finish up cleaning I started going light headed and my vision started going blurry. The next thing I know is everything going black and my falling to the fall.

Third person

Isabel crashes to the floor, hitting the back of her head.

"Mom?" Corey called out as he rushed over to his mother her was unconscious on the floor. The nine year old boys eyes widened.

"Corey? What was that bang?" Kairi shouted from the living room.

"It's mommy! She fainted!" Corey yelled and Kairi came rushing in with Connie in his arms.

"Oh shit." Kairi mumbles and head for the phone to dial nine one, one.

"Nine, one, one what's your emergency?"

"Hey, yes! My wife just fainted and I think she hit her head. Can we have an ambulance please."

"Um sure thing. What is your address?"

"Two, two, three Avery road."
(Random address btw)

"Ok sir I'm going to ask you to stay on the phone with me while we send an ambulance out."

"O-Ok."

"Can you check wether there's a pulse Please."

"Sure."

Kairi fast walks over to Isabel who was still laying on the floor and Corey had put her head in his lap.

Kairi presses his finger against Issy's neck to see if there's a pulse.

"Yes! There's a pulse."

"Ok good. The ambulance isn't fare now. Can you check the back of her head to see if there's any blood."

"Ok."

Kairi reaches behind her head and riches her head but the suddenly there's a bang at the door. Corey gently places his moms head down on the floor and answers the door.

The paramedics take Isabel on a stretcher and into the ambulance.

"Are you coming sir?" A lady asks.

"Um- no I can't. I need to call someone to look after my kids first." Kairi panics.

The lady nods and closes the ambulance doors then gets into and starts driving away.

"Dad." Corey whispers. Kairi looks over and Corey motions down to his lap. Kairi looks at his son and noticed that there was a couple of splotches of dark red blood. Kairi's eyes widen and he looks down at his hands and sees blood.

"Oh my god."
