We are walking around in the woods doing what foxes do when suddenly I heard a twig snap, me an Theo whip our heads round simultaneously
No.
It can't be.
Derek.
Theo started growling but I just stood where I was completely frozen, Derek freaking hale is standing right in front of me and I have Theo growling at him this is just great
"It's all right I'm not going to hurt you" he put his hands up in mock surrender and took a step back "but you are on my territory" I nod my head before nudging Theo in the other direction before running off into the woods
We are now back in our human forms "by any chance do you know who that is?" He said with a smirk because obviously I looked like a spooked puppy right now "derek" I mumble
I glared at him so let him know I don't want him asking me questions he rolled his eyes and we headed back to the jeep
We pay for another night at the motel when we realise we haven't eaten in two days so Theo decides to go to the local supermarket to get some food

I was picking up some bread when I felt a tap on my back I turn around to see a tall boy with blondish brown hair and green eyes "hey there, are you new around here" I look at him curiously as he held a hand out "Jackson, Jackson whittemore"
