Marcus was wondering where is sister was until he heard a ear piercing scream from deep in the forest. He ran so fast it seemed like he didnt move at all. Super speed, gonna be useful sometime along the line, he thought to himself. He made it to the center of the forest in seconds. He paused as he heard the scream grow louder and louder. Like an alarm going off inside his head. As he drew closer to the sound, he heard muffled voices. Sounded like someone was saying "Hold on.....Marcus...." as he felt a firm hand grasp his shoulder but he grabbed the hand and threw him clean into a tree, almost cracking it. Amenadiel didnt look phased in the slightest as a matter of fact he looked pissed by the way he was looking at me. "Marcus, just hold on a second. Your senses will be overwhelming at the beginning. Your powers are just emerging and you are under a lot of pressure." As he moved closer to him. "Wait you dont hear that, Amenadiel?" As Marcus stood against a tree, almost sure he was gonna pass out. "Yes, it sounds like someone is in excruciating agony." As the screams became louder. Marcus's head felt like it was going to explode off of his shoulders. Every sound was becoming too much. "Try thinking of the most personal memory you hold dear." As be placed a hand on my shoulder. He thought of the most peaceful memory he had. A voice that sung a hymn that calmed him. The sound sounded like my mother. Until he opened his eyes and saw her standing in front of him. She was bleeding and broken in places he was afraid to look. She looked like was in a war and she lost. "Marcus, I dont have much time. Where are you?" As she began to stand up. She was weak and dying. "What happened to you?" As he began to hold her. "It doesnt matter. Just tell me where you are." As she leaned on his shoulder. "With charlie and 2 men named Amenadiel and Mazarin." She looked relieved "bastard kept his promise. Did he tell you what he was or did you gain your wings?" "Both. But we were attacked by soldiers clad in black and red armor." She looked worried as she looked at me. "The powers attacked you. But you are alive, so they failed." As she hugged me so tight I thought she was going to crush me. "Look I dont have much time so listen to me. You need to find the solstice key." As she began to let go. "Wait, what the fuck is that? And how am I supposed to find it?" As her image began to fade away. "Find Gadreel and tell him She is coming" as she faded away. And he awoke in the forest. "What happened,Marcus?" As he began to back up. "I saw my mother or what I think was my mother. She said something about a Solstice Key". Amenadiel turned around and looked terrified as he began to walk towards him. "Did you say Solstice Key" as the terror was growing inside of him. "Yes. Why are you looking like you've seen a ghost? As he began to walk towards the house. "We need to talk to Gadreel." As his wings unfurled out to their full height and he took off in the air. This was going to end bad.
