"Well dont be too excited for the arrival of your favorite uncle." As they embraced each other like their lives depended on it. "Well,happy birthday, nephew. Where is Lily?" As she began to run down the hallway like a gazelle running from a tiger. "Uncle charlie!!" As she ran in to his arms and he picked her up like she weighed nothing.. "Well, speak of the devil. So, what are your plans for your special day? I hope it involves setting drunk as you are of drinking age." "Oh stop, Charlie. You know we dont allow drinking in this house." As Elizabeth came down the hallway, carrying Annie down the hallway. "Also,Charlie. Can you bring him down to Dr Martin's office? He had another one of those horrible dreams again." "Sure, I'll stop him on the way. As a matter of fact, we can go right now. Come on, birthday boy." As he began to get the car ready. "Ma, do I really have to go. I mean it is my birthday. " "Yes,you do. I already set it up and paid for it. So just go." As tears began to brim around her eyes. "Ma what's wrong?" As he began to hug his mom, she said, "When you came here, you were just a little boy and now your all grown up. Just know I love you so much, Marcus" Her speech began to make him well up. "Love you too, ma. I gotta go. We'll talk later ok." As he put on his jacket and walked out the door. "Hey, Marcus. Wait in the car. I have to talk to your mother inside. I'll be out in a sec."
Charlie walked into the house, seeing Azeraphale or in her human guise Elizabeth. "What do you want, Camael?" Charlie began to walk towards the sink. Towards Zera. "So how is Marcus?" "His memory of that night is returning, Camael. After his visit to the doctor, do not bring him here or his sister it is too dangerous for him. I dont want him to see what happened to their mother to happen to them." She said with tears pouring from her eyes as she began to ponder what their lives will be like now. With them gone.
