The guild was nearly completely silent as everyone turned to look at the utterly shocked kids. It was obvious that they had no idea this was coming. Rin whooped. The guild erupted into cheered. The children all exchanged looks of bewilderment, excitedness, and confusion.

"I told you! I told you!" Rin said, laughing and jumping a mile a minute.

"I can't believe it, they're sending some of us. THEY"RE SENDING SOME OF US!!!" Nash exclaimed, shaking Reiki and Gale.

"Settle down everyone. This year we're supposed to send ten competitors. I'll list their names now," Laxus said. "Gale Redfox."

Cheers erupted around the guild. Gale looked so happy that he might faint.

"You did it, Nii-chan! You did it!" Mini exclaimed.

"Emma Redfox." Emma squealed. And hugged her older brother, who was still in shock.

"Nash Dragneel." Nash pumped his fist in the air and grinned at his guildmates

"Luna Dragneel." Luna fist-bumped Nash and gave Emma a hug.

"Reiki Fernandez." Reiki grinned. They just needed Storm to complete "the Fantastic Four".

"Rosemary Fernandez." Rosemary hugged her brother.

"Nova Dreyer." Nova smirked.

"I thought you'd never call me," she said. Everyone laughed.

"Storm Fullbuster." Storm smiled and walked over to his friends.

"Rin and Sylvia Fullbuster." Sylvia squealed and hugged her brother. Well, tried to, at least. He was jumping around in circles in giddy excitment.

"We'll all be leaving tomorrow for Crocus," Laxus said as the crowd dispersed.

"We're going to the games! We're going to the games!" Emma exclaimed.

"I'm going to the games..." Sylvia said, rocking back and forth.

"What are you not excited?" Rin asked.

"No, it's just. I wasn't expecting that. At all. And now, in two days we'll be in magic battles. Talk about stress," Sylvia said. They all agreed with her.

"So, Reiki, how's your love life been?" Mira asked as she wiped off a table. Reiki groaned. He Rosemary, Luna, Storm, and a few others were the only people left in the guild hall.

"Mira, I've told you. I don't like anyone like that," he said. He had answered this question a hundred too many times.

"But everyone needs a ship," she replied innocently.

"What even is a 'ship'?" Reiki said. "And besides, I don't need a girlfriend or anything."

Mira smiled mischievously. "You'll understand when you meet the right girl. You'll understand."

"Can we change the subject?" he asked desperately.

"I heard the Vastias are back in town for good," Luna said. "They finished their quest."

"Who?" Mini asked while attempting to stay in the guild hall as Romeo carried he out.

"Lyon and Meredy Vastia. They have three kids and have been on a hard quest for the past five years. I know that they left their kids at Lamia Scale sometimes but it'll be nice to really see them again," Storm answered.

"Mom and Dad used to go over to their house all the time. They didn't let us come with them most of the time though, because often they talked about a job they were working together," Reiki said.

"The last time I saw Tearie was when we were eight," Storm said. "I never got to know her well though. She'd always run off with Sylvia and Rin."

"Well, I heard that they're sending Ultear to the Grand Magic Games. I can't wait to fight her!" Luna exclaimed. Her friends facepalmed.

"You're just like Natsu," Mira said, smiling.
