"Mrehhhhh," Gale moaned, clutching his stomach. Kiwi patted him on the shoulder. Gale had gotten motion sick for as long as anyone could remember.

"It's okay," Kiwi commented in her high voice. Even among exceeds she had a very high voice, and considering her father was Pantherlily, it's was really quite a shock. "We're almost there," she said. Not many tried to comfort Gale anymore. Many had tried... and none had succeeded. Levy would have tried to help him, but she was always busy with Gajeel.

The specific car they were in was the "motion sick car." Yup. They just threw everyone who got motion sick in one car. Great idea. In total, they had Natsu, Luna, Wendy, Gajeel, Gale, and even little Asher, who had only started learning Flower Dragon Slayer magic a few months ago. Kiwi and Mini were also in the car, both of them with Gale. Mini sometimes went over to her mom, but most of the time she sat between the two, telling them stories.

"And then the princess told the prince that he'd better stop calling people mean names or she would tell his mom. So the prince stopped being mean and became friends with the princess!" Mini exclaimed, wrapping up her story. Wendy and Gale smiled weakly.

"You know, Nii-chan, once you win the Grand Magic Games, I'm going to write a story about it. It's going to be so great. I'm going to publish it," Mini said. "Can I publish it, Mom? Then everyone can know how awesome our guild is!"

"Of course you can publish it. I'll make sure you get the best publisher in the land," Wendy said, smiling. Suddenly, Luna's phone rang, waking her up.

"Who is it?" She asked groggily.

"It's Nash. Mom told me to tell you to tell everyone that we're going to be at the hotel any minute now. Thought it might lift your sick spirits."

"Okay," Luna replied, yawning. She seemed about to say something when she fell asleep again. Her phone would have fallen and dropped to the floor if Kiwi hadn't lunged in quickly to grab it.

"Luna-san fell asleep," Kiwi said into the phone. You could here the collective sigh from the other end. And a "sounds like Luna" from Lucy.

The magic mobile skidded to a halt and after approximately 0.0001 seconds everyone was out and on the amazing solid ground.

"I missed you," Natsu and Luna said in unison, hugging the pavement.

"Oh, good, you guys are still alive," Nova said as she got out of one of the other magic mobiles. "I was worried one of you had ditched the ride altogether and decided to walk."

Everyone's eyes darted to Natsu. Last year, after a few hours of driving, he had decided to get out of the train and walk. He barely made it to the Games in time. Everyone was VERY angry with him when he finally did show up.

"The preliminary round starts in about two hours, so you should go up and get ready," Laxus said to the kids. They ran upstairs quickly and divided into two separate rooms: the girls in one and the boys in the other.

"Wow, this room is huge!" Emma exclaimed. "I call the biggest bed!" She said as Luna put her stuff down on it. This lead to much bickering and arguing and unnecessary fighting until it was ended by Nova, who gave the bed to Sylvia.

"She's the tiniest; she doesn't need a big bed," Luna grumbled as she took a bed next to Emma. Her exceed companion, Sakura, flew into the room and sat down next to her.

"You'll be okay," she said. "You've got this fancy thing hanging over your bed."

"Yeah, yeah, I know I shouldn't be complaining," Luna grumbled. Suddenly, the boys  came charging in.

"THEY CHANGED THE TIME," Nash yelled. "THE ROUND STARTS IN FIVE MINUTES!"
