The music was on, the candles were lit, the echoing squeals and laughter of my children bounced off all our walls. I gently huddled my feet into my warm body and sipped my coco. I kept my golden eyes focused on the howling snow, beyond the protective walls of my home. My husband came beside me and sat on the sofa after kissing the battle scar torn down my cheek. Then my other husband came and did the same. Being huddled between the two loves of my life made me feel the safest and most loved I've ever felt.

I had almost fallen into a heart warming slumber until my youngest child to Xavier came toddling in. Half Demon, half Angel.

"Nara, my child what has happened to your arm?" I asked, gently soothing the scratch on her elbow. I looked into her eyes, one red, one gold and melted as I saw a delicate tear stream down her face.

"Nara, do not cry, my angel." Ryder crouched down to her level and gently wiped away her stray tears.

"A...a...Arion..." She sniffled. Arion was my eldest child to Xavier. "He threw the snow at me. Mama it's shard snow!" She squealed.

"I'm sure Arion didn't mean to hurt you, Nara. He loves you very much, you know that." I smiled at her, stroking her tear stained cheeks.
She nodded understandingly before taking her coat off and jumping onto Ryder's lap.

Soon enough, Arion came stomping in.

"Ari man! How many times have I told you to take your snow boots off before you come into the living room." Xavier teased as I turned to look at the now soggy floorboards. Arion kicked them off before kissing me on the cheek and sitting on Xavier's lap.

"I'm sorry, Nara." Arion said firmly without us having to tell him to. He gently leant for Nara's hand and kissed it. I'd always wished for a sibling as a child, a normal childhood unlike mine. Arion was such a protective, loving and caring brother. Nara really was lucky.

"Mama will you tell us a story." Little Nara whispered, her contrasting eyes sparkling at me.

"Of course, darling, if you want me to." I smiled.

"I want you to." Ryder whispered into my ear huskily, sending shocks and tingles through my whole body, making me moan so gently.

"Once upon a time, there was an angel. Now you know how the angels were treated Nara, don't you?"

She nodded her small head and sniffled.

"Yes yes it's so sad Mama. I'm glad things are not like that any more."

"Me too, Nara. Anyway, there was an angel, who was trapped with some mean people, who hurt her, until she bumped into a man. Who she was afraid of at first, but soon began to love him. But he was a demon. And demons were not allowed to love Slaves. Demons were not allowed to love Angels. She began to trust him, showing him her wings, as he also began to love and protect her back. Soon enough, the angel bumped into the man's brother. At first she didn't like him at all-".

My story got interrupted at that point by a deep chuckled erupting from Ryder's chest. I giggled too, by continued with my story, looking at both my beautiful children, snuggling up to me, and both my beautiful husbands listening carefully.

"At first, she didn't like him at all, but the revolution of the angels brought them all closer together. They all realised that they all loved each other so much and both the men promised to fight for the angels. Soon one of the men decided to tell the angel something she had to know. He told her that demon's have mates. And mates are like soul mates. Your one true love, your other half and the person you are destined to be with for the rest of your life. As you know, the men were brothers, twins in fact, and shared the same blood therefore they were both mates to the angel.
The revolution came faster than a blink, angels stood up for themselves, fed up being told what to do. They would stand, and fight like the strong beautiful creatures they are. The revolution lasted only six months. Angels died. Demons died. The royal family died. Demons surrendered. But the angels, did not want to take complete control. They just wanted equality. And so they got it."

"Mama?" a tired Arion sighed.

"Yes sweetheart?"

"How old was the revolution?"

"Oh a long time ago darling."

"Do we have mates Mama?"

"Of course, my angel."

"Will it be an angel? A demon?"

"Only fate will decide, Ari." I said before he slipped into a deep slumber.

"Don't you think they'll start to wonder how you got this, baby?" Xavier asked as he kissed my scar.

"I'll tell them when they're ready. They don't know about any of that yet. The revolution, to them, was just a little fight. They'll know when they're ready." I said.

Both my husbands took my babies to bed before coming back down to cuddle on the sofa with me. Xavier grabbed my wrists together and held them above my head so I was unable to move or squirm away. Ryder came down hard on my lips, dominating ever movement and taste. He tasted so sweet oh my. Xavier, with his free hand, came to down caress my thigh, sending burning tingles all down my legs. Ryder's hands moved towards my stomach, bulged and bruised with the new twins of his due in a few months.

I knew my life with Ryder and Xavier would be hectic, stressful and very busy but every single day got better and better, more and more perfect.
