Hannah's POV:
The ambulance journey took around half an hour, I followed in the car with Ed and Charlie. I mainly just stared out of the window on my left side but every now and then I'd turn to look through the windscreen, only to be reminded of the fluorescent truck in front of us, carrying my husband and our friend.

Charlie's POV:
When we arrived at the hospital, we parked in the nearest available parking space and headed towards the entrance of the A & E department where Lizzie was being wheeled into. She was lying on a bed and was wheeled into a nearby cubicle; we then waited five or so minutes before asking about which cubicle she was in.

Joel's POV:
I followed Lizzie and the paramedics as they took her into her designated cubicle. The doctor had a brief chat with Lizzie, just asking her about what happened and whether I was a relative or not- understandably, her replies were fairly vague as she was still coming to terms with the fact she was still alive. Suddenly, I felt a tap on my left shoulder and turned round to see that the rest of the group had now joined us; I turned to Ed and Charlie, made eye contact and smiled softly before greeting Hannah with a hug. 'I think you're going to need stitches, you've been very lucky, Miss Flint' the Doctor explained to Lizzie, as he prepared to sew up the wounds on her left arm. Once Lizzie had received her stitches, I was taken aside by the doctor and informed of what was going to happen next; they wanted to keep Lizzie in hospital for a few days just to keep her safe and monitor her.
