Let The Battle Begin

"Let the battle begin" he says as we enter the building. We position the prop on the middle floor right in the corner. We hear Ground Zero over the speaker "villains ready, heroes come in 3" he starts to count down "2" I get ready. "1 GO!" He yells and I get Jarou to go and fight as I protect the weapon. I hear lots of bangs and explosions. I hole breaks through the floor and Kinsetsu jumps up and throws some small rocks my way and they detonate right beside me and I get pushed back a little. I run back at her and aim for her stomach. She doubles over in pain and grunts. She throws more rocks and I dodge them.

I run back at her and decide to strike up a casual conversation with her. She throws a punch and I dodge and ask how her day was. "Good" she says a little winded. "That's good" I say as I throw another punch. "What do you want to accomplish here in UA?" I ask as I back up so we can both breathe. "I guess to become a great hero" she says panting. "Awesome! Me too" I respond. "What's with the question?" She asks. "Just curious I guess. "What's your biggest dream" I ask and smile. "To impress my parents and become one of the top heroes" she says. "Perfect." I say and smirk. "How are you doing with this whole thing?" I ask casually. "I'm doing good why?". I suddenly imagine her getting awards and her parents being impressed and she looks happy. Distracted. I grab the tape out of my pocket and capture her. I take away the vision and she is confused and upset. "No fair!" She yells at me and walks out of the arena.

Jarou runs into the room panicked and breathing heavy " t the vine girl!" She says. "She's strong. She grows vines out of her nails and it trapped me and I almost got caught". "Breath okay, where was she?" I ask. "Right here!" I turn around and see vines come around the corner. "Damn it, protect the prop!" I yell and we both run to the prop. The vines get closer and closer. "Blast the vines" I blurt out. "What?" She asks. "If the vines are like her fingers and you blast them it should at least cause a shock to her and hold her back while I go find her" I say kind of quietly. "Okay" she nods and blasts a few vines. I run around the other way to avoid the vines. I scan the whole middle floor and run upstairs to the top floor. She's not there either. I run to the bottom floor and she's not there either. "Wait, if her fingers are vines and plants need sun to grow, she could be on the roof!" I almost yell in excitement. I run up to the top floor and catch my breath before going any farther.

I climb to the roof and sure enough, she's there, facing the other way. I took another piece of tape from Jarou downstairs. I run up behind her quietly and she turns around right before I get her and a big vine smacks my stomach and I go flying across the roof and hit my back on the shed. I fall to the ground and hold my stomach in pain. I gather enough strength to stand and run back downstairs. I see Jarou still fighting the vines. "Give me some crystals!!" I yell. "What?" She asks. "Give me some crystals" I repeat. The hands me five and I run back upstairs. My back is starting to feel it now. I get back to the roof and sneak up on her again. She turns around again and aims a vine at me but I duck under it and throw two rocks at her. She jumps back and I almost hit her and she gets knocked off of her balance. I throw another and it hits beside her foot and she falls over. I run at her and capture her too.

"Team D wins!!!" Ground Zero announces over the speaker. I stop hearing explosions and I run down the stairs to the bottom floor and walk out to a bunch of applause and a hug from Kinsetsu.
