Dinner With The Bakugou Family Part 2

I let him go and we get to his house. We walk in and he bolts upstairs suddenly. I run after him. "Wait Kato!! Why are you running" I say as I catch my breath. "I I just don't like the dark i is all". "It's okay, let's just get your stuff". "Okay" he says as he walks in his room. I follow him and he packs some stuff and takes off his shirt. I look away and cover my eyes. "It's just my shirt bro" he says. "Yeah but it's an invasion of privacy" I say panicked. "It's really not" he says. "Okay okay" I say and continue to look away. I hear tapping on the floor and a little bell chiming. I look down the hallway slightly alarmed. I see a little husky pup run down the hallway and jump up on Kato. "So cute" I say and pet the dog. "Yeah he's really cuddly" Kato says. "I see that" I say.

We leave his house and run to the train station to catch the train and make it home before we are late. I text Ochacco 'hey, we are on our way back be home soon'. 'Okay kiddo, see you soon' she replied. The train ride was fairly quiet again. We get off the train and run home. He puts his good up as we enter the neighborhood. "That looks really sketchy." I say. "Yeah I guess so but my skeleton face" he says a little worried. "What about it? It's amazing! They will love it you have nothing to worry about and besides Kinsetsu loves people who look different, like with mutation quirks" I smile at him. He blushes and says "Yeah yeah yeah whatever" but I saw the smile he was hiding.

At the house we do greetings. Everyone loves Kato's skeleton "mask". Everyone made him feel really welcome. I give Kato a tour of the house and Bakugou calls us to the car and we all get in. Kato sits in the middle and I sit behind the passenger seat and Kinsetsu sits behind Bakugou in the drivers seat. I "zone out" and look out the window and before I know it we are there. I see for a split second and then it all goes away. My head hits off of the window and I can't find the handle. "It's right here" Kato says and guides my hand to the door handle. I open the door and trip on what seemed to be my own foot. I stumble but don't fall. I keep walking and if it weren't for Kato yelling "Pole!!" I would have ran into it. Bakugou picked me up and I yelled "put me down!" "I'm trying to help you" he says almost softly. "I don't need it!" I say and he puts me down. "Fine" he walks away. "But he can't see!" Kato says. "He needs to learn how to deal with the backlash of his quirk" bakugou says somewhat angry. I get turned around and end up facing the car and I end up holding on to someone. "Who is it?" I ask. My response was a "get off of me" and a push from Kinsetsu. She pushed me. I start to fall but am caught by someone. "Be careful Lance" I hear from behind me. It's Kato. Bakugou comes back and lifts up my head and drops an eye drop in each eye. I blink a few times and can see a bit. It's all blurry. "Holy shit I can see!" I yell. "Wait how many can I take at once?" I ask. "About two or three at a time" he says. "Pass them here" I say as I drop more in my eyes. My head suddenly starts throbbing and I'm in pain. "Oh my shit!" I say holding my head. "Here take these" Kato says handing me pain reliever. I take them no problem. "There hopefully I get better" I say.

After eating my headache calmed down a lot. "Hey Kato where were your parents?" I ask. "They are out on a business trip and they will be for a while" he says a little sad. "Wanna stay over? If it's okay with them first" I gesture to Bakugou and Ochacco. "Yeah actually, sounds fun" he says a little cheered up. We go over and ask and Ochacco asks "are you sure that's a good idea especially with all that's happened with you tonight?". "Yes" I say "I have Kota too, he'll help me" I say and smile a big smile at her. "Fine" she says.

"We will be back after we grab my stuff" Kato says as we run to the train station. We get on the train and talk about how dinner went and how clumsy I am when I can't see. We get off and run to his house. We sit outside for a bit after he's done packing and just talk. "Hey, can I use my quirk on you?" I ask. "No bad things I promise" I say. "Fine" he says. "Okay so, what's your biggest dream?" I ask. "Ummm, to become a great hero and to prove my bullies wrong." He says proudly. "Alright and how was your day?" I ask. "Why is thi-" he stops as he envisions his future as a hero with Kinsetsu as his wife.

Kato's POV

"Why is thi-" I start as I slip into the vision. I see me as a popular and good hero and I see Kinsetsu with a wedding ring and I see me with one too. I start to soak it all in when it suddenly stops. "What the" I start to say. "I had it all and it was fucking taken from me!" I yelled. Just then I notice Lance laying down on the ground. I run over and shake him "cmon Lance, this isn't funny" I say. "Lance" I say a bit louder. "Shit!" I say as I scramble to grab my phone and call Uravity. "Ummm Uravity, it's Kato, Lance" I say very panicked. "What?" She says confused. "H he I think he's passed out." I say panicking more and more. "Okay! We are on our way" I hang up and stay with Lance. A while later they get there and drive him to the hospital.

Lance's POV

I wake up and I hear an unfamiliar voice. "It's because of her quirk". Is kinsetsu okay? I open my eyes and everyone rushes too my bed. I hear a mixtures of "are you okay?"s and "I'm so sorry" and oddly "HIS quirk not her, LANCE is a boy" I hear Bakugou yelling. I sit up and it hurts but I look over and see Bakugou getting mad at the doctor. The doctor misgendered me. "I'm okay everyone" I say and stand. Less pain than before but it still hurts. I walk to the door and I'm lifted by someone and rushed out of the room. I turn and it's Kinsetsu. "What are you doing?" I ask very confused. "You are going to talk with me for a second" she says angrily. "Okay?" I say and she sits me down in a chair a little too aggressive for my pains right now. "Ow" I say. "Be careful!" "Be careful my ass" she says. "You need to-" "need to what?" She's interrupted by Bakugou who's standing at the doorway. "Be more careful!" She says and glares at me. Yeah totally believable. "Thank you Kinsetsu, go see your mom, we'll meet you guys at home soon. "Okay" she says and shuffles our of the room. "Let's take you and Kato back home now" he says as he lifts me up and carries me to the car as Kato follows. We both sit in the back and we drive home. Bakugou pulls off the road and stops at an ice cream shop and we all get ice cream.

We get home and see Ochacco and Kinsetsu eating ice cream and watching a movie in the living room. "Hey girls how are you doing?" Bakugou walks over to them. Me and Kato go up to my room. "I'm so so so sorry about tonight" Kato says tearing up. "Hey no no no it wasn't your fault." I say comforting him. "But if I didn't tell you it was okay none of this would have happened!" He starts getting louder and him and his voice getting more shaky by the second. "Come here" I hug him. He bursts into tears. "I'm sorry Lance" " no don't be, I should have been more aware." I say. "Talk about nightmare fuel" Kinsetsu says in a dickish way. "Kinsetsu! You know how his quirk works!" I yell at her, still hugging Kato. "Yeah yeah, anyway I just came to see how my little brother" she has a hard time saying it " was doing after tonight" she says innocently. "Kato come here" she says is a slightly pouty voice and goes to hug him. He instantly let's go of me and hugs her. That one kind of hurt. "Let's go to my room Kato." She says and winks at me. They leave and I'm by myself.

After about twenty minutes I hear a loud bang and an angry Bakugou. I run downstairs and I see Ochacco talking to Kinsetsu and Kato. What did she do now. I walk over and Ochacco tells me to go back to my room and that this is none of my concern. "Okay" I say sadly and walk to my room. A few more minutes later Kato walks into my room with an air mattress. "What happened down there?" I ask. "The best thing, and the scariest thing to ever happen to me" he says and flops on my bed clearly happy. "I" he starts "Kinsetsu likes me back and we kissed". "You what!!" I say upset. "Yeah, it was great" he said a little giddy. "I have to sleep up here though just to make sure nothing else happens." He says with a hint of  disappointment in his voice. "Okay" I say and we start watching a movie and setting up his air mattress.
