Voice: [over speaker] The Nightmare child had been released, I repeat the Daleks have released the Nightmare child.
[The ship is set out much like the deck in Star Trek, except smaller and dirtier. With mix-matched panels like some sort of patchwork ship. Tecteun is wearing the Gauntlet.]
Tecteun: Turn that off!
Gallifreyan 1: But sir, the Ti-
Tecteun: I said turn it off!
[The Gallifreyan turns off the speaker.]
Tecteun: What's the latest report on the experiment?
Gallifreyan 2: The chips work.
Tecteun: Of course they work, we had the best Mondasian scientists work on them. That wasn't what I was asking about. Are the things…. Active?
Gallifreyan 2: Technically. They're all in catatonic states.
Tecteun: And the humans?
Gallifreyan 2: The ones we have hold of have been converted.
Tecteun: No. Not converted. We may be using Mondasian technologies but we are not them. Is there anywhere we can put them for the time being?
Gallifreyan 3: We're not giving them to The Time Being are we?
Tecteun: No! Of course not! I'm not a madman.
Gallifreyan 4: Talking of madmen… Do you think they'll catch you?
Tecteun: Who?
Gallifreyan 4: Oh, you know, The Doctor.
[Tecteun raises their arm, the Gauntlet begins to glow blue, so does Gallifreyan 4. They scream as they evaporate.]
Tecteun: Nobody will say that name, you understand me?! Any mention of the name and I will not hesitate! No regeneration. You're gone. The Doctor will not be named! If they find us, and let's hope they don't, we'll be lucky if we survive to tell the tale. Any stories you've heard about The Doctor, The "Oncoming Storm", The "Savior", are false. The Doctor does not surrender. The Doctor does not retreat. The Doctor does not have mercy. They call the fool "The Doctor", but don't be fooled. They are a Warrior. We can just pray the Time War is stronger than the Madman, or may the Universe be kind to anyone who stands in their way.
