4. Not Fair

Just a reminder that the timeline is not accurate. The time will bend to my will.

It had been three months since I returned home, and today was one of my favorite days in the village; the fall fair! For two weeks mid September, a temporary fair ground would be set up on the outskirts of Konoha. There'd be food, games, and rides. I couldn't wait to go with my friends, until I found out I'd be thirdwheeling for the most part.

Ino had recently started dating Sai. He was on Team Seven temporarily while Sasuke was gone. When I had first met him, he was very blunt and had no filter at all when it came saying what was on his mind. But he'd really started working on himself and learned how to express his feelings better, which is how I guess he was able to tell Ino he liked her.

When I was first invited to the fair by my best friend, I thought it would be just us and maybe a couple of others, but no. It'd be Ino and Sai, Shikamaru and Temari, Kiba and whatever girl he was dating at the moment, Tenten and Neji, and Naruto and Hinata. Even Choji had a girlfriend!! The only single ones were me, Sakura, Lee, and Shino.

I kind of didn't want to go, but this was one of my favorite events of the year, so I got up to get ready. This time, when I looked in the mirror, I felt a little happy. I was starting to look like my old self for the most part. My thighs were still kinda thick, my butt was kinda big, and my boobs were still the same size. But Ino assured me that I looked super hot and that she wished she looked like me, so that made me feel a bit better.

Since my old clothes were starting to fit again, I  decided on wearing a pair of jeans, a cute cropped shirt that came right above the waistline of my pants, and some tennis shoes. I grabbed a hoodie because I knew I'd get cold at some point, and then left.

Everyone said we'd be meeting at the entrance of the fair, so I walked by myself. Almost all of them were there except for Shikamaru and his girlfriend, and Shino.

"Hey, guys," I greeted as I approached them.

"My sweet angel, I'm so glad you're here!! Ino squealed as she ran up to hug me.

Once I removed myself from her death grip, I laughed and asked, "So, how's everything with Sai?"

"Shh!! You're talking too loud." She covered my mouth with her hand. "Everything's good! This is our fifth date so I'm hoping he'll officially ask me to be his girlfriend." She grinned.

"Aw, I hope so," I said after I took her hand off of my mouth.

"Can we go in already? Shikamaru said he'd be late, and Shino isn't coming," Naruto whined.

Great, an uneven amount of people now, I thought to myself.

We stood in line to buy tickets before being let in. There were already so many people there, but I knew the later it got, the more people would go home.

"So what are we doing first?" Ino asked.

"Well I was thinking we could..." I trailed off when I realized she was speaking to Sai.

"Oh, sorry, (Y/n), we're going on the tunnel of love. You can come too if you want! But it would be kinda awkward for you..." She smiled sheepishly.

"No it's okay, you guys have fun."

"Oh, I wanna do that too!" Kiba added, grabbing his girl's hand.

Soon enough, all of my coupled up friends were wanting to ride the stupid tunnel of love. Even Lee decided to go by himself.

Of course the only ones who didn't go were Sakura and me.

"So, what do you want to do, (y/n)?" She asked.
