trippshwty won first place in The Discovering Elites Award in the summer of 2020. With their story My Dark Secret Let's see what they say about these questions.

When did you realize you wanted to be a writer?

I realised I wanted to be a writer when I first had wattpad, that's when I realised that I could also share and maybe one day get opportunities.

When did you write your first book?

Back when I was in the sixth grade.

What does your family and friends think of your writing?

Most of them are very proud of my work and one day wish to see me as a successful writer.

Where do you get your information or ideas for your books?

Honesly when I just think more about that specific book, they often pop in my head or sometimes whenever I'm writing a chapter I flow into detail.

When did you first consider yourself a writer?

Eighth grade.

What us the most difficult part about writing for you?

The begining and the ending.

Was there another way, you would have done the ending?

Yes.

How many books have you written? What is your favorite?

I have three books so far and it is my favorite book I ever written.

What has been your favorite comment on your story?

My favorite comment in tbe book was in the ending and when the reader motivated me and told me how great was my home. It really touched me because this was the first receiving words like that from someone I haven't met.

What advise would you give a new writer?

Read and read and read and I would also say they should be patient and take time with their books. Every writer is a great writer with an amazing work and it will one day be acknowleged when the time comes.
