Besides a few confusing part on both Killian's and Blu's behalves, the negotiation went quite smoothly.

Varvara held Blu's suspicion knowing there was something she hadn't told her. For instance, the reason why she was so keen on helping her brother out. She even seemed a little too persistent about it.

Blu had been hanging out with the certain kid for quite sometime to know she got to be under a lot of pressures to willingly help her siblings up to this extent. But she didn't push her to spill out the beans as Varvara would eventually tell her when it was the right time.

Once Blu convinced Killian that she needed to take a different flight later on next week, she signed the job contract - which after she'd read carefully seemed to be quite short and unsurprisingly a little unprofessional, as she literally quoted "there's no turning back" from one of the lines.

Blu couldn't risk having him to book her flight, especially with the risk of being caught once he asked for her passport, or the interrogation she'd face before and after departures about her gender. Besides she also needed time for a lot of plannings.

"Appreciate the lunch. See you around, homies," she excused herself once they were outside, getting ready on her bicycle. This time the accent was quite acceptable.

Blu awkwardly adjusted the helmet strap without taking off the bucket hat as she grinned sheepishly at her lunch mates. Killian stared back at her weirdly, Varvara's facepalm from behind him showed the disapproval she had towards Blu's action. Might as well towards the bike.

Without intending to raise anymore suspicions, Blu took off from the parking lot. What she missed was Killian's comment on her ride.

"His bicycle looks oddly familiar."

To which Varvara replied, "you've probably seen one of those on your stupid magazine."

That one was obviously an instant response. A middle school pastel bike that was completed by a front white basket would less likely make it into Killian's choice of bike magazine.

Blu rang a few bells as she drove around the corner, the muffled sound it produced reflected the age of her bicycle. Killian shook his head before getting in the car, his sister followed.

"To be fair he kinda looks familiar too," he said whilst starting the engine.

"Well, he's a cousin of my friend, they look quite alike." She thanked her fast-thinking mind for always giving the answers without a long pause that could possibly expose her nervousness. No matter how senseless they turned out to be.

Varvara breathed out silently when Killian seemed to buy her answer. He shrugged nonchalantly, clearly careless to know which friend she was talking about.

After lunch with the Blancos, Blu planned to inform both Mister and Missus Riggs of the job, without really telling on the disguise part. If they didn't approve, she'd find another excuse anyway.

Sometimes her parents took a day off on Sunday, good thing today was one of that occasion.

"Parents!" Blu called once she was home.

She went to the kitchen after hearing her mom's voice responding from the other room. Blu found her sitting with bills scattered around the table. Her dad sat across from her mom, his back facing her as he worked on his laptop.

"Can I go to Barcelona next week? Got some international cooking job there, it's a good chance for me."

Her mom took off the glasses before processing her words. Her nose scrunched at Blu's appearance.
