1 - Sheer Idiocy

"I wonder why no one's interested with the job," a weary looking Killian said.

With the navy coloured tie hung loosely on his neck, he slumped against the soft mattress of the living room couch. It was almost a whole week of break, quite a while since his last time coming back home. The football club had kept him busy as always.

Varvara raised her nose from the book she was reading. She then put her attention to one of her brothers. Well, to the crumpled paper in the hand of Killian to be more precise.

By how it looked from her spot, the plain white paper didn't attract any interest to her. It surely would not attract any interest with other passer-by as well.

She knew Killian was only talking to himself. There were just the two of them in the living room.

Besides she was always preoccupied with her books, including the current book she was re-reading at the moment. During times like this, the only thing that held her attention would solely be her book.

But, Varvara knew the certain brother was in need for help.

Killian and his football mates needed a butler to take care of the dorm back in Barcelona. He got to move out to the new place along with several others this year and he wouldn't waste that opportunity.

After years of hardworking, he finally got what he deserved as a professional footballer. He was a newbie, but even a newbie footballer who trained 24/7 deserved to live in a more 'decent' place.

Whilst the football club activities kept them busy, there should be someone to prepare them with food. Not to forget 'this someone' had to keep the dorm clean as well.

He had to bring the butler back to Barcelona during this break. It left 4 more days before he'd be leaving once again, this time bringing the butler along. But the problem was, there were no candidates as per now.

Considering this as an act of helping a family, Varvara put the book she was reading down.

"Let me see," she informed whilst snatching the minimum decorated job vacancy from Killian's hand.

She gave a once over and burst out laughing before even fathoming what it said. She knew most of her brothers were idiots, but this sheer idiocy wasn't supposed to happen these days.

"How much you have this?"

Killian eyed the only female sibling he had like she was some crazy old woman. She certainly would be one day.

"Just one," he answered reluctantly. It sounded more like a question rather than a statement.

With that being said, the more Varvara doubled up in laughter. She certainly didn't expect that.

"And what? You put this at the bus stop?"

"I've told you that. Don't play smart on me, Varv," once again he answered.

Varvara rolled her eyes as she wiped the tears from the corner of her eyes. She then put her attention back to the doubtful paper in hand, digesting each and every word.

"You do realise with this less trusted form of..." she scrunched her nose whilst thinking of the right word to describe the sheet, "... job vacancy, you have no right to put this tons of requirements, right?"
