  I sat in the back seat silently fuming at my inability to do anything right.

Its at times like this i silently wished i was capable of so much more.....i had always considered myself a plain jane well, aside from my looks everything aside that was certainly below average.  The only thing that helped to boost my ego was that i was insanely good with technology. I was the best of the best like 99% percent better than a proffesional hacker or computer engineer. But my nonna didn't like that she would always say 'pretty girls like you shouldn't waste their time behind a computer screen' .

Too bad she left this world. She didn't even get the chance to complete her bucket list all because of some stupid rivalry between two reckless idiots....

Coming back to the present reality as the car halted infront of what appeared to be a private unit in an airport. I watched as Emilio got out of the car and approached a man in his mid-forties in his uniform. Every word that left his bow shaped lips seemed to make the guard grow paler and paler until he eagerly nodded his head to something Emilio said before scurrying off in a workers only direction.

"What are we doing here" i asked as i watched his approaching figure. "Don't you know..you could be under arrest if caught...or are you forgetting your a suspect" his silver eyes gleamed with indifference as  he came to a stop before me and yanking the car door open...tugging me over his shoulders in one swift motion.

"Hey!!! put me down.....i thought we were pass this"

"You thought wrong" he rebutted as he made more twist and turns than i've ever done on a tea-cup ride.

"I can walk you know" i huffed as i crossed my arms in frustration....well atleast attempted to in my position.

"Yet you can also run" he affirmed with a big resentment laced in his tone
That effectively shut me up. I watched the world from upside down trying to make out why or where we were headed. I was baffled at the ignorance thrown our way as people seemed to carry on with their lives as if watching a man haul a woman to who knows where is a normal everyday occurrence.

The world seemed brighter as we emerged from the tunnel like hallways into a wide hanger where a private jet stood in all of its majestic and expensive glory the word 'king & co' was branded to the side.

I searched my mind for any information i knew of the man whose actions were still a mystery to me despite owning a file based on his background. Finally it clicked in my mind...the name king was Emiliano's surname though his middle name was not mentioned it wasn't stated in the file his means of income all that was present there was his name, age, date of birth and other basic things on a profile. Come to think of it his file was otherwise useless as it didn't own any useful information regarding who he is and what he does. I assumed it he was something big to earn enough money to afford a jet........

I'm gonna find out who you are Emiliano.....no matter the challenge that comes with it......after all its once said 'curiosity killed the cat but determination brought it back'

'You mean you once said'......

A silent voice whispered in my head shining limelight on my self proclaimed lie.

Not once did he put me down even when they had to carry out numerous safety precautions. I was left with the embarrasment of my arse sticking in the face of whoever he stopped to converse with.

"Sir the jet is ready to take off" a stiff voice said from behind me. Emilio didn't bother answering the only proof that he heard what he said was the small nod he gave which i could feel due to his high cheekbones rubbing against my thigh. I blushed in embarrasment as he bounded up the steep stairs of the jet. His steps not so gentle bringing me great discomfort from the state i was in. As the world around me whirled as if mocking me of my inability to win against gravity i felt lightheaded from the amount of blood rushing through my ears.  he set me down in a quick and not so gentle motion which left my mind in a daze and my sight blurry.

"You didn't have the decency  to set me down carefully considering the way you manhandled me like a bloody caveman" i cursed as i craddled my ponding head in my hands squinting up at him in the bright lighting of the room.

After buckling me up, harshly might i add he left me to my own thoughts. I took in the extravagant white and glossy brown oakwood decor of the plane with its white illuminiscent lighting adding to the classy vibe it gave off. They were only five chairs that were spaced neatly and a white sofa opposite the seat a built in white oak wood table separating us with  much needed distant claimed appropraite.

I had never been on a first class plane ride before. The highest i had was buisiness class which i got solely by luck. A white cotton sheet seperated my space from others . i noticed a lot of controls and buttons on the left arm rest of my seat and a small but large looking tablet built into  right side of my seat.

I could get used to this.....

I thought as i cozied my way into the seat letting out a large sigh completely forgetting about the situation at hand.  Besides there wasn't much i could do to escape consideribg we were so high up and i wasn't a fan of heights.

As the jet began the take-off process i plugged in the headphone and tuned a famous series i had missed due to my time consuming job and hectic life challenges...

Let the binge watching commence......

I was so engrossed in the horror movie i had just put in when i got bored of watching reruns of the series that i hadn't noticed the presence  on the seat across from me. My palms were sweaty despite the high air conditioning of the jet....my pulse was racing as i teeths chattered across my finger nails. A horrible habit i picked up anytime i watch a horror film. Currently in the movie the mainlead's best friend was hiding from the thing that was chasing her. I watched as the girl hid under a desk watching the things footstep move through and fro the room insearch of the girl. Finally the footsteps stopped and the things feet was no longer in sight. After waiting for a long antagonizing minute the girl's head popped out her hiding spot when she checked and confirmed that the coast was clear she came out of her  hiding spot fully letting out a breath of relief

"No....girl get back in there now" i screamed as i hugged my form tighter anticipating her next move not mindful of my surroinding.

Just as the girl turned and caught sight of the monster all up in her personal bubble. She let out an ear-piercing scream just as........

"Boo!!!!" My ears rang in response to the loud shrill voice as i flew up from seat in fright screaming the daylights out of my vocal chords as my heart almost literally skipped a beat.

Oh my feeble.....feeble heart.....
