Back to the Beginning

chapter 7

Do you ever get that feeling that your in a life changing experience and you see your life flashing before your eyes......well i could almost hear the angelic sound of the trumpet as i plummet to my death with a total stranger i've learnt never to trust.
Seriously if i had the chance i would have taken my chances and bolted through the door with 60% chance of surviving, rather than here which gives me 0.1% chance of survival.

I wasn't even sure if i had enough gold stars to make it to heaven. The same can't be said for this guy......

My thoughts were interrupted as we plunged into the ice cold, bone knacking, teeth chattering ocean. As i struggled to swim back to the surface i remembered one crucial information that i forgot to mention.

'I can't swim....'

Oh boy!!! This is gonna end badly for me but on the bright side the fishes in these part of the ocean will have a big meal to sustain them for a long time.

Hey i'm not saying i'm fat just got a lot curves i got from my spanish background. No thanks to mom.

I felt myself getting light headed as i ran out of oxygen to a least let me fantasize about the things i could of become. I started embracing water as my new form of breathing. Maybe i'd become a super hero who breathes under water they'd call me Neptunia the water princess......

My pitiful thoughts were cut off by a muscular tan arm wrapping around my waist and pulling me up until i was face to face with my captor....my suprisingly good looking captor.

I coughed out an awful amount of water as he swam with me hanging on his waist to the shore which wasn't very far ahead......taking in large gulps of air proved difficult as my throat itched from the intake of such heavy salty water, my eyes red and brimmimg with unshed tears that threatened to let loose..

Once my coughing fit was over we had already reached the shore and dare i say, i've never been more grateful to be surrounded by land......

Soon loud gunshots broke the peaceful silence making the birds in the tree go hay wire.

'Spoke too soon.....'

"Come on lets go" my capyor said lifting himself off the ground and dusting the beach sand stuck to his brown cargo khaki pants.

"Go where...we're surrounded by forest and more green plants" i said as i took a look around our surrounding confirming my statement.

"Look if you wanna live then you come with me if you wanna die then be my guest and stop asking me ridiculous questions" he grunted as he headed into the wild forest apparently he didn't feel it important to wait for my reply.

Letting out an aggravated sigh i trudged solemly behind him making sure to keep him in my line of sight.

As seconds turned to minutes and minutes turned to hours i could barely feel my feets which was probably soar i was tired of hitting away stray branches that kept smacking me with its leaves. I groaned in annoyance for the umpteenth time as i smacked the branch out of my sight with more force than required...not having it in me to walk any longer i sat on a root stump and groaned as my body ached anywhere and every way.

"Pls can we take a break" i wheezed out as i panted for air cradling my sore and probably injured body.

"No" he said without even glancing back at me which i found rude as he trudged on in the same pace not even breaking a sweat unlike myself that is.

"Please...." I practically whined "my feets are killing me" i groaned as i leaned further into the tree my muscles protesting with any
slight movement.

He let out a large puff of breath as he stopped in his tracks, his hands fisted beside him......if i didn't know any better i'd say he was angry at whom i refuse to discover.

"Look we have to reach the rendevouz point by nightfall, now would you quit acting like a spoiled brat and keep up....your slowing me down." He yelled in annoyance making me flinch at his tone.

I narrowed my eyes into slits as rage bursted through my veins and a large ugly scowl overtook my features.

"Say that word one more time and i'll show you what a spoiled brat can do" i snapped as i balled my fist, my knuckles turning white with pressure.

"You know what i don't need you, i'll be fine on my own infact i'm gonna find my own way to the rendevouz point don't wait up for me"

immediately those words tumbled out of my mouth i regretted it but i couldn't go back on my words now that would be a blow to my pride and so i walked and i didn't stop until i was out of his sight and deep into the woods where i knew he couldn't follow me and you know what the worst part is
He didn't stop me neither did he follow me. He just left, left me alone to realise the grave mistake i had made and it didn't take long to find myself in trouble.....
