Chapter 8

Courtney's POV

Wait what where is the picture I get Skylar wasn't alive but the picture should be here! I then see Luke run in and I look at him, I run up to him hugging him with a very tight hug and he hugs me back. I cry, and cry, and cry and I can't stop I try to stop crying but I can't I then feel Luke whisper in my ears saying that he was wrong about everything being ok. I pull out of the hug and look at him I just stand there looking into his baby blue eyes.

"Luke?" I say

"Yeah?" He asks

"I don't get it" I say hugging him again

"I don't either" he says hugging me back

"The police left" Luke says "so did the guys so we are alone"

"Oh" is all I say

Luke's POV

I need to tell Courtney now that I like her but how? How do I tell her that I like her? It's not as easy as it is in a movie where the guy says 'I like you' and the girl just kisses him. No. It's either they'll say no, yes, or slap you in the face and leave. But I need to take what I get. But I can't tell her now she's been crying and I need to support her I'll tell her tomorrow. If she's ok

It's now 9:00pm after a long, long day.

"I think you should get some rest" I tell Courtney

She nods her head and walks to her door. But then she stops and looks towards me.

"Can I sleep in your room I don't wanna go in mine" she asks

"Of course you can" I tell her and she walks off

I follow behind her and I walk in the room with her and I sit on the bed beside her. She looks at me and I then look at her and I smile at her and she smiles back. Then she lays down and I lay next to her and right now I feel so bad for her. She turns on her side so she's facing me and I do the same and I look into her her blue eyes which are so beautiful and I could look at them all day. I see she yawns and she turns to her other side and then I put my arm around her waist. I then feel myself start to fall asleep and soon enough I'm fast asleep remembering everything that happened.

*Morning*

Courtney's POV

I wake up and I feel Luke's arm around my waist and it makes me smile. I try to get up but I don't want to wake Luke up so I just wait till he wakes up but I turn my body around so I can face Luke. To bad his eyes weren't open but sleeping Luke was cute too which made me smile once again. In two days I'm going to tell Luke my feelings and in two days I'm going to get a reaction from Luke about my feelings. I can't believe this is going to happen and I can't wait to tell Luke my feelings!

I then see Luke's eyes flutter open which makes me smile even bigger and I see he smiles back at me.

"Hi sleepy Luke" I say

"Hi wide awake Courtney" he says back

"Wow that's lame" I tell him

"How rude" he says

I just roll my eyes and try to get up but of course Luke grabs me and pulls me back. He then whispers something in my ear "we're going to the park today" he tells me which gets me excited because I love the park. I get up and run to my room grabbing some clothes and goes to the bathroom to take a shower. I get out of the shower to do my hair I brush my hair and dry it then I leave it straight at the top and put curls at bottom. I then go to put some clothes on which was a navy blue shirt with an infinity sign and white shorts with a gold necklace with an infinity sign and it says 'love' at the bottom. I then decide to do my make it's usually the same as always hazel with a little bit of black some mascara and this time I add some red lipstick but not to much of it. Then at the end I put my converse on.

"Luke I'm ready!" I yell

"Finally!" He yells back

"Ugh shush with that nonsense" I yell laughing

"Come on let's just go" he say
