The Legend of Drizzt: Woodland Princess *COMPLETE*

Chapter 11

Once arriving in Rivendell, Legolas and Leevria explained to Lord Elrond what had happened, the words tearing at their throats. Elrond looked at them, confusing on his face "Frodo and Sam are alive. They're in the medical wing"

Leevria laughed "What? I-I...take us to them!" Elrond grabbed her arms "Yes, We will. But first let's get you into something more..appropriate. The handmaidens will help"

Leevria slowly nodded, slightly offended but allowed herself to be poked at by the maidens. Drizzt laughed watching her before turning back to the sunrise

"You as well, Master Drow" Elrond said "What?" Drizzt asked, turning around to face him "Come. You need clean clothes"

Drizzt stammered, Elrond held up a hand, making him go silent "I foresaw your arrival to my city before it happened. I also saw your bond to Leevria before you knew her" He turned back to his servants "Treat this warrior with the same respect as the others. He is a drow unlike any other." The servants bowed and led Drizzt to a room with fine elven clothing on the bed.

He stood for a moment "I...Okay then"

After getting themselves cleaned up, the fellowship went to check on their hobbit friend. Merry and Pippin ran in first,jumping onto the bed and hugging Frodo.

Gimli went in next, grinning happily and clapping his hands. The elves followed the dwarf, right before Aragorn.

Leevria held tightly to Drizzts arm, aww'ing at the small creatures embracing. "They're so happy" she laughed. Drizzt looked at her "Are you not?"

She looked up at him "of course I am"

He leant over and kissed her forehead quickly

"I'm glad"

After Aragorn left got Gondor to prepare for his coronation, the elves had stayed in Rivendell until the celebration was to take place.

"Legolas" Leevria asked, the prince turning and tilting his head "Yes?"

"Do you think ada (father) would learn to accept Drizzt? As you and I did?" Legolas grabbed her hands

"I think he could. I don't think it would be easy, but I think he could learn" He told her.

"Truly?" Legolas nodded "Truly. But, today is not a day of worry. We must get to Gondor"

Finally making it to the white city,the elves watched as Gandalf placed the crown on Aragorns head "Now come the days of the king. May they be blessed"

The crowd cheered as the newly crowned king turned and faced his city, only ceasing once he began to speak

"This day does not belong to one man but to all. Let us together rebuild this world that we may share in days of peace."

The crowd applauded again as Aragorn began to sing , bowing as he walked to meet the elves. Legolas led them, Leevria by his side with Drizzt behind her.

No words were exchanged between friends, none were needed. Although Legolas gripped Aragorns shoulder in his palm, nodding to a hooded figure behind them before moving away. Aragorns eyes widened in happiness as they fell on to Arrowen.

She walked to him, he stared at her for a moment before taking her in his arms and kissing her passionately.

Leevria smiled as they walked to the hobbits, who went to kneel before being stopped by Aragorn

"My friends, you bow to no one" Middle earth bowed to the little shirelings.

Once rising, Leevria laughed softly, grabbing her brother and Drizzt, an odd group hug taking place as the two males awkwardly patted each other's back. 

She pulled away "Well, boys. Let's go. I heard of a celebration in the hall"

"Valars protect us" Legolas muttered "From what?" Drizzt asked, laughing "If Aragorn is holding a party, he will have elven wine. Leevria is...less than pleasant when intoxicated." Legolas replied, a grimace on his face

Drizzt nodded "lovely"

Drizzt smiled as Leevria walked over to him, holding a glass of red liquid filled to the brim.

"Must they make everything a competition?" She laughed, nodding towards Gimli and Legolas. "Aren't these drinks strong?" He asked, taking the drink out of her hand.

"Very. Elves are built for tolerance. It takes a lot for something to effect us like this" Drizzt raised his eyebrows a took a sip of the drink.

Leevria laughed as he gagged, he was an elf just as much as she was, but she guessed he had never tasted the strong beverage before.

"Careful" She muttered as he struggled to swallow the wine.

Although it seemed she failed to take her own advice as she told the story of helms deep to Gimli, who had lost his competition to Legolas, and he listened even though he had been there aswell.

Legolas sighed as he watched her dramatically wave her hands around.

Drizzt chuckled and walked up to her, putting his hand on her back.

She turned and smiled, throwing her arms around his neck "Hi"

He looked over at Legolas and Aragorn, who only shrugged and laughed at him.

He muttered about their betrayal before stopping Leevria from filling her glass again "I think you've had enough"

She shrugged and leaned against him,  waving to people over his shoulders.

He laughed quietly and wrapped one of his arms around her to hold her steady.

Legolas walked over and shook his head "I warned you." Leevria looked at him "Warned him about what?"

"Not a thing."

She made a face at him before going back to what she was doing.

Once Aragorn, who was also tipsy, came over, the elves began to tease him for hardly holding himself up. Gimli had quite literally been drunk under the table by Legolas as he laid knocked out on the floor.

Drizzt laughed as Leevria fought to keep herself awake. "Come. You need sleep" He said, lifting her bridal style so she wouldn't hurt herself getting to bed.

"Don't try anything" Legolas said, staring at Drizzt with a look that dared him to try anything

Drizzt stared at him "Why must you think so lowly of me?" He asked "I would rather die than take advantage of her in such a way" without giving Legolas a chance to respond, he walked off.

Kicking the door open to the one of the many rooms in the palace, he laid Leevria down.

She slowly peeled her eyes open, not letting go of his neck.

"What're you doing?" He laughed, grabbing her arms.

"Stay with me"

He shook his head "I can't"

"Why?"

He sighed, knowing she wasn't going to let him go "move over"

She smiled, following his instruction and letting him settle beside her. He muttered something as she made herself comfortable on his chest.

"What?" She slurred.

"Your brothers going to kill me"

She shook her head "You needn't worry about my brother, for one day, he will be your brother as well"

She smiled at him once more before laying her head back down, not realizing the significance of her words on his mind as she fell into a peaceful sleep.
